Gundam Seed Box Set question

Hello

Does anyone got an idea when Gundam Seed Box Set will be released? Vol 10 was released about 13 months ago.

Looking at how only now Gundam W and G Gundam are getting collected releases, it may be some time before that happens.

Expect at best 1.5 to 2 years after the last volume is released.

Mobile Fighter G-Gundam Box 1-4 has been released 11/05/2002, 02/18/2003, 04/08/2003, 06/17/2003. It is the new relesed box sets that are out now (Anime Legends Complete Collection 1-2, 05/09/2006, 06/27/2006).

It is the same with Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: The Complete Operations 09/24/2002. The new ones is Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Collection 1-2 03/28/2006, 04/25/2006.

Between the release Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Vol. #10 and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: The Complete Operations it was about exacly 1 year.

So there is no reson why Gundam Seed box set should not be released about now.

The Wing and G Gundam boxsets were released back when Bandai was still riding the popularity wave set by Gundam Wing in the early 2000s. Every Gundam title to come to R1 after Wing and G has statistically performed below expectations and failed to garner enough exposure, and the ones that have aired on CN have had horrible ratings.

Companies also wait one and a half to two years after the last single volume to release a boxset or discounted thinpak/brick so that the people who buy the individual releases don't feel cheated and ripped off. I'm an avid R1 anime buyer and it is the ultimate slap in the face when a company releases a discounted set soon after the individual discs finish release.

Please show me a legitimate boxset that has 25 episodes per disc.

If you are talking about thinpaks (which feature usually the same or slightly lower disc count), Bandai isn't releasing them (and Gundam Wing wasn't a thinpak). Zeta Gundam release seemed to be a one-time affair. Bandai sometimes releases cheap economy bricks, but those usually come a year or two after the last volume.

I don't think he's thinking about 25 episodes per disc, I believe he meant 25 episodes per box set. Meaning that Seed would be two boxsets.

Yes thats exactly what i meant for example Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Complete Collection I is 5 disc and so is the other one that totals 10 disc on two box sets.

I have Gundam Wing Complete Collection. It's a single box with 10 discs. Zeta Gundam is also a single box with 10 discs. As is a Gundam Seed boxset. They are all single boxes with 10 discs.

The one that was split was the G Gundam set (2 boxes).

Gundam Wing was re-released recently under the Anime Legends label, but there is absolutely no indication that the same will happen to Gundam Seed. Anime Legends is mostly reserved for classic anime that they decide to bring back to the stores, not a new anime that already has a boxset available.
