The artist of the current artwork will always shown at the bottom of the main AnimeSuki page, with a link to their site, gallery, or similar. Scroll down to where it says "Our Mascot: Kairin". Failing that you can always read this thread as I'll often post details here if the artist hasn't already.

Yes! Yes it would be nice to get a load before the season changes. Not so much fun or as applicable for those in the southern hemisphere, but it would still be nice. Maybe someone will answer your picture with their own wintry scene.

I agree that she would look better slimmer and not so "dwarfed" looking. However, these recent pieces of her are by the same artist. And if you look at the artist's gallery/profile, you'll see a somewhat continuing trend in drawing females like this. Simply put, it's her (Artist, not mascot) art style.

I for one am all for the nature inspired dress Kairin has got. It's pretty creative and fragile looking, which makes it all the more irresistible to stare at.

I like the new Halloween Kairin picture for the most part but I do have to say that while the upper body looks fine...her thighs are waaay too big.

I really miss drawing Kairin...I want to try and do a Christmas picture now. *sigh* I wish I had more free time.

I'm afraid that's my fault. I recently gave her a cheese cake as a present. It appears to have gone straight to her thighs. (That's why she standing behind our recently added torrents these days.) However she is an active and healthy girl so I'm sure she'll be back to her usual weight in time for your Christmas picture. I hope you find the time to do it. I bet she'd look great ice skating or relaxing in an hot spring with snow capping the stones around her.

The more I look at and think about it, the more A.Suki's current Kairin pic resembles Street Fighter's Chun Li. Well, her basic body shape. I mean, looking at those legs, it would hurt to get kicked by Kairin.

So, this has led me to wonder what sort of character does Kairin possess? From the beginning of course, when she was first introduced. By character, I mean as in a person who does certain sorts of things such as a lazy person, a athletic person, etc.

i like the current picture that's up of kairin...but it think i don't like the fact that it's the same exact picture as the halloween one...except that the costume has changed...i tend to like more variety. the dress up doll gimmick is not so great...
