Well who would be such an idiot to go with J model Zaku to space (except Ms Igloo pilots )

Bucue wons Zaku but it depends on terrain; If it were on desert / plain then it would be easy victory.
But forest / Urban combat, it doesnt have changes against Zaku equipped with MMp 78/80 and Sturmfausts

There's too many variables to VS battles even outside tech issues.

Gotta present an even battleground for both subjects.

Yeah...a Dom (or Dom Tropen) or an Armored GM would definitely work out better in comparison with a BuCUE.

I'd like to see this VS.

Yoshiyuki Tomino vs The Animesuki Forums Gundam Section.

Tough one. I'm going to say Tomino because he's Tomino and that seems to be good enough most of the time.

Depends.

Is this Happy Tomino or Kill'Em All Tomino?

If it's happy, then it'd be hard to say...kill 'em all and the Section would get owned big time, lol.

Anyways, more continuations =)

16. MS-06F Zaku II vs. MS-06 Borjarnon (yeah, I know they're basically the exact same thing, but you never know how time changes things and all =P lol)

17. MS-05B Zaku I vs. MS-06 Borjarnon Gavane Goonny Custom (same as above)

18. MA-09 Mass Production Type Big Zam vs. JMA-0530 Walking Dome "WaDom" (MP Big Zam may be shorter, but it doesn't really lack that much power in its main mega particle cannon, lol)

19. TGM-79 GM Trainer vs. MS-06W Worker Zaku (interesting, eh?? XD)

20. MS-09F/Gb Dom Gross Beil vs. YMS-15 Gyan

21. MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai vs. RMS-106 Hizack

22. RMS-099 (MSA-099) Rick Dias vs. MS-09RII Rick Dom II

23. MS-14JG Gelgoog Jager vs. MS-14J ReGelg

24. OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon vs. OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III (honestly, when I first saw Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, I thought the Tallgeese III was a rebuilt Epyon using parts from the Tallgeese and such for homage =P)

I'll just make my entry into this thread with these 2 comparisons, since most earlier ones are discussed many times.

18. An MP Big Zam would be easily defeated by WaDom, I'd think even the prototype Big Zam would have problems with it. WaDoms are freakishly agile lol, plus it has a considerable I-field over a nanoskin armour, defensive. MP Big Zams or Big Zam itself probably would have trouble hitting WaDoms. WaDom's beam cannon was used to destroy mountains lol, I'm not sure if Big Zam's I-field can withstand it. WaDom's are also capable of melee attack with kicks.

24. Fighting an extremely agile melee unit such as Epyon would mean that range weapons would be useless, since Epyon would be getting as close to you as possible, Tallgeese III's slow Mega Beam Cannon would be ineffective. This means we are talking only about close range weapons and 2 agile units. Both units have basically the same melee weapons: beam sword and heat rod/whip, but Epyon's beam sword is much more powerful as we know. Epyon has Gundanium Alloy as armour, but Tallgeese III uses the weaker lunar titanium, Gundanium Alloy armour in GW is like a super robot armour lol. Also the final advantage Epyon has over Tallgeese III is the ZERO System. I think its very clear to me that in an Epyon vs Tallgeese III fight, Epyon is the clear winner.

Kill 'Em All Tomino, of course.

Also, here's another one.

Freedom vs ITSELF.

With Seed Kira vs Destiny Kira as pilots. For argument's sake, we'll say that Seed Kira is berserker Kira, from ep 50 preferably. Destiny Kira from any episode.

Oddly I think Destiny Kira would lose because he wouldn't know if fighting against Freedom is the right thing to do at the time, and will get stabbed in the torso with a big sword.

I DID mention others (must be no one saw)

"9. OMSM-07RF RF Z'Gok vs. UMF-4A GOOhN or UMF-5 ZnO

10. MSN-02 Zeong/Perfect Zeong vs. MAN-002 Febral

11. LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam vs. ZMT-S37S Zanspine (I would LOVE to see these 2 fight it out)

15. RX-78GP02A Gundam Physalis vs. --->AMX-017 Gigantic <--"

Anyways...

1.) I'd go with the Geymark overall.

2.) Zssa definitely...at least it's equipped with SOME close-range combat in mind whereas the Heavyarms is not well-equipped at all.

3.) Definitely like the Bawoo better

EDIT: Anyways, a couple more....

25.) AMX-011 Zaku III vs. AMX-009 Dreissen

26.) MSN-03 Jagd Doga vs. RX-94 Mass Production Type n Gundam

27.) RGM-86R GM III vs. RGZ-91 Re-GZ

I'm gonna reply to the following three. I'm having a hard time rating more than five especially when they're suits I've only seen in paper.

27.) RGM-86R GM III vs. RGZ-91 Re-GZ
25.) I'm going with the Zaku III on this one since it's more well-equipped and has better max thruster acceleration than the melee-oriented Dreissen.
26) I'm going with MP Nu because it's more versatile and has better technology. The Jagd Doga works well only with NT pilots while the MP Nu works even better with NT pilots.
27.) I'm going with the ReGZ since it has way better technology than the GM. Heck, you could've used a Jegan and the Re-GZ still wins.

Here's a few from me:
MD Taurus vs. GW-Bit(Airmaster)
Both are transformable and a bit lightly armed. For the sake of argument, let's say the Taurus' AI is based on a good pilot while the GW is controlled by a regular Newtype.
Altron (TV Version) vs. Virsago Chest BreakB
oth have similar gimmicks. Altron is great from midrange and excels at melee. Virsago seems great on all ranges.
Zeta and its variations against each other - the Zeta Gundam's greatest advantage is that it has one of the most plothole-causing retcon in Gundam: the Biosensor. You decide.

What can be a good matchup to Turn A aside from Turn X? I think that Turn A/X will own every other MS just because it has Moonlight Butterfly.

There is one but it has been debated to death and produced no conclusion. Let's not bring up that thing in this thread.

I'm talking more about air superiority here.

Last I heard, Nu/Hi-Nu can't fly in the atmosphere :P
The Nu/Hi-Nu wouldn't be able to fly for an extended battle, or match S-Freedom's speed, but its funnels could do that.

Even the J type should be able to move around in space. It still has a thruster, and the AMBAC should still work, allowing turns and such. Of course, it'd perform extremely poorly.

Well so far the only remote weapons that ever worked in the atmosphere are these:

Quebeley's Funnels
Gundam Rose's Rose Bits
Jester Gundam's Balloon Bits
Vertigo's Funnels

These are all small sized funnels, maybe they can support themselves in the atmosphere, but I'm not so sure that the large and non-aerodynamic Fin Funnels can.
