Its based on a seinen 4 panel manga thats serialized in the seinen(young men's) manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat. (according to Mangaoh this is a seinen manga magazine)

For now there are 2 volumes released of this manga.

If there is romance, it is going to be shoujo-ai, at least I don't see any male characters... My guess is that it will be slice-of-life series about art students.

I'm going to watch first couple of episodes.

Well, it's 4-koma - my guess would also be it's a slice-of-life comedy show. Sort of similar to Azumanga Daioh.

That is certainly good news, looks like Shinbo is involved in two shows at the same time if this is going to air january 2007, because Negima?! is 26-episode series.

Looking forward to this series.

Just reiterating what Darkchibi has already mentioned, that it is a Shaft production with Shinbo Akiyuki as the chief director. The synopsis NeoSam has posted from Animenfo also indicates that this might be a slice of life series. With Shinbo as the director, we may expect a lot of his usual style of comedy that is as random event as Santa's bringing an Acer laptop.

I'm really looking forward to this.

hi no ken Jebus Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004	Spoiler for ep 1: Pretty cool first episode. I didn't know much about this until yesterday when I saw it was airing thursday and decided to check it out. The OP is nice and lively while the ED is kinda meh. The cast is very likeable especially the teacher with her squeaky shoes and apparent cosplaying hobby and Miyako who is pretty upbeat. This is somewhat like Azumanga done by Shaft with some random stuff here and there but it's not like pani poni where it goes to near excel saga levels. I'll probably stick around for a few more and see where this goes. __________________
