Huh, I saw that and instantly thought, "Destroy? Why did they call this Stargazer when it is clearly Destroy... Waitaminute, Destroy does not have a ring at the back..."

I'm going to cry if it suddenly sprouts angel wings on its back then delivers 456548658648865385864 mile radius shots from outer space to earth or something... or it becomes a gigantic halo decimating everything it touches... powered up by a singing Pink Princess...

What if the ring controls G BITS?!?!?! OoO

Anyway, it looks kinda...um...unfinished...>.>;;; the headdress reminds me too much of Rose Gundam (or whatever Neo France's Mobile Fighter was named as).

I believe that since the world is on the brink of war and ZAFT seems to commence military operations worldwide, mass drivers will be requisitioned by the EA or will remain in ZAFT's hands for its own maneuvers.

Since it doesn't seem we're in Panama - where the MD is (close to the Equator where the planet's rotational force would be highest in order to help 'boost' the shuttle's launch) the only way to get the Stargazer spaceborne would be through a shuttle. Since there doesn't seem to be a mini mass driver / launch catapult around like the Seirans' in Orb, well, what other option do you have?

IIRC the April Fools Crisis ONLY rendered all nuclear power sources on earth useless. The oil and whatever were left untouched.

That would be so cool though. Except for the pink princess part.

Has anyone notice that the "cracks" between the armor plates of Stargazer seems to be able to light up, kind of like orbital frames in ZOE? Maybe stargazer can "channel" light like Turn-A channeling I-fields?

A correction on my previous post...at that point in time (end of Reconstruction War and beginning of CE), the natural resources have gone all drained that was why they resorted to using nuclear power. But now that you think of it...it's a whole new plothole. Where did they get all the fuel they needed in spite of this fact? >.>;;

And when you look at those ridiculously enormous JATO (jet-assisted takeoff) rocket boosters on the Minerva, the question is all the more glaring. If people made a constant journey between, say, Jupiter and Earth, shipping resources from one point to the other, I could understand - but how come fuel became such a liability a few years ago but seems to be a common, omnipresent resource wherever you go? When the NJ were dropped the nuclear energy ceased to exist, causing all that havoc but how come the Earthlings managed to produce more of that rare resource? Did they find alternatives like hydrogen (the most omnipresent resource in the universe) or biomasses obtained through organic chemistry?

Liked the bad ass guy who used the tank to beat a Zaku. Also, liked how the silver haired male was voiced by Yukito from AIR.

That was no Zaku boy! It was a GINN insurgent type

I always miss details on Mars/Jupiter in the Gundam universes, and CE do have colonies on Mars I believe...
And in UC they always mention Mars/Jupiter...but never Saturn

All "insurgent type" means is it isn't associated with ZAFT. It's a fairly standard GINN in terms of weapons loadout and appearance (though it's basically carrying 2 GINNs worth of guns). Nothing special, just another surplus GINN. Astray is full of them. Nice to actually see a GINN act like the giant warmachine that it is, though.

Aye, just what it is called. Still no Zaku though.

Still, wonder if we will ever know why those 3 kids were Zala fanatics...and why they piloted that thing instead of a real pilot.

Does anyone know how tall the Stargazer Gundam is? It looks unusually big but I'm not sure if it's taller than the Destroy Gundam or much shorter since it's an observational unit.
