Dun worry, bro. They'll air on TV too. This is just kind of a sneak preview. People at the party just get to see it first.
Hmmm. April. It's possible for me to go but exceptionally unlikely that I'll be able to make the money in time. Mainly because I'm absolutely terrible at saving money. The key thing stopping me from wanting to go to lyrical party is that it's highly likely that video of it will be out the night after it ends. So I'd go just for the sake of being present. And I'm sure somebody's made panties that sing somehow. They must have. Engineering students always make stuff like that

C'mon, let's not talk like this is "Hulk Hogan - Ultimate Warrior".
Sure, it could be, but why not "Shawn Micheals - Stone Cold"? Every fanbase starts from zero. Though I do find the prospect of 'passing the torch' in a manga where the apparent main focus of the next series aren't even genuinely shown to be properly developed to be weak. I mean, sure, there's nothing wrong with new blood, but why such a send-off? If anything, there should had been a several episode Nanoha OVA of A's to SS where the original trio AND the upcoming cast are given their proper limelight, the former where they gets to shine at their best and the latter for setting a sense of familiarity and give them a proper send-off. Not like this. It's like...dunno, Bret Hart losing the WWF(( I'm not calling it WWE )) title to Shawn Micheals in a house show without a several month long storyline rather than some grand PPV headliner.

I've never been a big fan of passing the torch from one main cast to a whole new one in general. We already know and love the original characters, and even in cases like Digimon Season 3 where the new cast is awesome, we're going to miss the focus being on our old favorites. If you want to introduce a new set of characters, the best way to go about it to do what DBZ did: keep the main character in the lead role (and Fate too, in this case), and fade some of the oldies out while still giving them some time in the limelight. (without making the oldies useless like DBZ did though) Actually, MGLN's cast hasn't gotten big enough where that latter step is really necessary yet... if they go 26 episodes or longer, they can split development between the old characters and the new ones and still be okay. The knights and Arf don't really need it, since they probably weren't effected by the time skip all that much, and developing a cast of eight or nine "new" characters over 26 episodes isn't THAT much of a stretch.

One of the most cruel thing in this world is to be in Japan but not being able to attend any Comike and anime-related event...transportation cost in this country is of an inferno expensive one...
And my dorm doesn't subscribe for cable channel...they even block all file sharing programs to make things worse. So, now I'm in Japan and need to wait in vein for episodes to be uploaded on youtube... Lyrical party TTmTT Tokyo is soooooo farrrrrr Why can't you hold some event in Fukuoka. This is a discrimination! |
