I havent gotten around to reading volume 12, which I understand is a short stories compendium.
It looks like there is a second Tabasa side-story.

I wonder if the mean line of plot has run its course already...
Perhaps this serioes is winding down, without ever having come close to conclusion.

I hope not. I imagine that volume 12 was more a transit station for what it has to come. From what I've read in the summaries, so far there are things that can be used for a plot development, for example:

1) Saito has to go to the Elven Land. What is he going to find over there? Will Tiffania help him? What will Louise do?

2) Final confrontation between the Void users

Sadly, the only source of information that I have about the novels is found in this thread (I do not read japanese, only english and spanish). I know that everyone is really busy, but I still hope that some comments about volume 12 will apear, so we would be able to disscuss them.

Seriously??? Saito went to the land of elves already? In which volume did that happen?
Man, it seems that I'm more lost that I thought...

I'll appreciate any info that you may have

2008? They must be concerned for quality... I think.

They never even got to novel 2 did they? I gave up hope on B-T a long time ago for them.

Aren't you the one managing us?

Few of us really had the time or commitment to work on ZnT. If this were last year I'd still be pumping away, and I've done my best to get as many chapters out as possible before I enter university. The majority are either too busy on Clannad or Haruhi, and frankly, ZnT just doesn't have that kind of interest floating around.

As of now, most of volume 2 had somebody assigned to it, but I haven't seen any entries for a long time. I did two chapters that I signed up for in that volume and was forced to give up on a third. A newcomer, Momogan, got volume 3 almost entirely to him/herself and is about 80% done the whole thing.

I don't even have the time to work on Lucky*Star, which I was pretty sure to be very low maintenance and quick work for me. I'll see what I can do on Winter Break, but don't be too hopeful. I can work fast, but I'm not as motivated to work on ZnT as before.

As I said, gave up on B-T. I just read up to Novel 8 from Sushi's summaries. But then she quit. So now I know nothing about 9 on. AT least it was licensed and I will be able to read it in half a decade.

Not trying to bash B-T though, love their Haruhi and Kaze no Stigma translations.

Clarification: Sushi-Y didn't quit. She was never hired. She volunteered.

Quit the summaries, not the translations.

She quit the summaries when the translations started.

I can only hope this is true.

They have this habit of pushing back their release dates. It's happened over... and over...

Which really sucks. It might be faster to learn how to read Japanese than to wait for releases from publisher

And seeing as how I am up to Novel 8, I can't expect novels 8 and up to be published before 2015

The summaries were great, I miss them.

Did they finally hop off with the harems? I've been afraid to say it, but what turned me off ZnT after about volume 3 was the hareming taking over the seriousness, and the whole "human weapons in magical world" theme disappearing. The harem wasn't even especially notable, and I really liked the "anachronism" theme above.

Politics might keep me interested at the least, but they have a thin line to walk on.

Jeez, the anime got me hooked...

Korea's having official translations, with a volume coming out each month (it's at book 7 atm).

I guess I need to tighten up my wallet -_-
