Relaxing Music =)

Hey everyone,

Lately i have been very stressed out, and am looking for an album of music that is peaceful to listen to, prehaps a bit sad as well, something to reflect over things with.

It would be nice if it could be an anime ost, but prehaps a japanese instrumental or likewise as well.

Hope to get some nice suggestions,

Dave x

Aria soundtracks are excellent.

pretear OST is also very nice.

Aoi yori Aoshi soundtracks are good.

tsukihime OST's are a bit moody but excellent on a mid summers night dream.

stellvia OST is much more upbeat, probably not what u are looking for.

Anime soundtracks? why not go with something a bit easier to get your hands on, just like me

i love jazz, do you?

why not try and find some of that if you can stand it...ahh yes i remember it now, sitting in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant with my dad as a kid eating burgers listening to jazz relaxing is a lite term for it

You might like the Kanon / AIR piano arrangement album -- it does a nice job of taking some of the best songs from each and distilling them down to solo piano pieces. I'd describe the overall feel as calm and slightly wistful, and I find myself listening to it quite often when I'm stressed out.

You want Mushishi OSTs 1 and 2; entirely instrumental except for the OP theme. However I feel the beautiful instrumentals are a little short, being as they are ED credit themes.

relaxing music.... try
Studio Ghibli songs plus one music box melodies ?? ---- ahhh.... sorry ... i forgot the exact title but it sounds like that... its a collection of miyazaki's movie theme played in music box tune
Tiny snow fairy sugar OST- its easy to listen and very relaxing.
Juuni Kokki (12 Kingdoms) piano memory and kokyu memory (oriental instrument)
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de OST1 also has lots of music played in japanese instrument, same with Naruto OST 1.
Ouran Hight school Host club first ost is also nice to listen during stressful time. The tune always make me feel happy.
