its more to do with the fact that there are still people who insist that he's still alive
and that this new release SHOULD be the final nail in his coffin (i say should because in all likelyhood even that wont stop it completely)

... I don't think so, it could be someone twisting his words - if you recall he did talk about creating a new world/better place for Nunnally throughout the series, but not at the end.

I know, but my point is that Okouchi's/ Taniguchi's words on the matter last winter were 'canon' in the first place. It's just blatantly stupid that there were people who rejected the writer's/ director's own words as canon.

C.C. -that monologue, is it an extra or is it during the credits or what? I need to know how to source it so the Wiki trolls can't refute it.

It's the ending narration from the Zero Requiem DVD, she speaks while Continued Story plays if that helps.

My, oh my, Little Lulu is offcially dead and here I thought the fans would make Lelouchianism out of his magical ressurection and start a holy war against Haruhism.

Anyway, there is an awful amount of hype around this series and frankly I was more interested in the poor directing during the second season than the cool things Leloush did witht his Geass-ex-Machina powers or his harem of bimbos. You can get more info about my opinion of the series in that looong review I wrote over at aniDB.

Why would you come to the thread where we're discussing content of the series to make cynical comments then try to advertise your review? It's not like everyone here thinks Code Geass is the best Anime ever written. Pretty sure almost no one who posts here will deny the failings of the series..
