Heh, you're right, what was I thinking? I think I meant to say sub-par. That's what I get for posting in the middle of the night.

Still playing TimeShift though. Probably about two thirds of the way through it at the moment.

After this I think I'll fire up MGS3.

Just beat both Route G the second time around and Route I for the first time on Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou vs ZAFT Plus II. I am not very happy that after giving it my all on Route I with the Buster to get no unlockables at all. The difficult of Phase 03 was somewhat around the level of Nocturne..

Aside from that, I am playing both Kanon and Growlanser V. For Growlanser V, I am most likely near the end of the game. After defeating the Platinum Screaper, I thought I was pretty strong, so I tried out at the Bishop Slayer examination and lost after a few minutes. My Fierce Strike Lv9 only does 23 damage on the monster. And it does about 80-120 damage on me, not mentioning that its Sonic Wave does about 200+ damage. Perhaps, I should spend a few more hours grinding and buy better equipment..

How about none of the above. It already has a full-blown prequel, a couple crappy spin-offs, and two films. FFVII is outdated mechanically and aesthetically, and people really need to just get over it. (tired of seeing people swoon over a clunky game I couldn't even be bothered to finish, lol)

PS3 : Demon's Souls (yea, Asian import), Street Fighter 4

Demon's Souls, while I found brutally unforgiving at the beginning, has grown a lot on me and I'm currently addicted heh. ST4 is mostly to kill frustration after work.

World of Warcraft...I just can't give up after the countless hours I invested into my character (not to mention the server first titles). It'll be stuck with me for a long long time >_<.

Phantom of Inferno: This game has a problem as that it is a dvd-game which means there is no feature of saving the game, instead it has an unique password system. A password is given at the end of a section. Generally, once the story starts, you have to sit there until the password screen and ignore everything else as that pausing the game doesn't work properly and saving is out of the question. However, there is no time limit to making a decision though. There is also no time limit for writing down the password. The password input screen have glitches but it works. Currently, I have 6 passwords and is still near the beginning of the game..

I haven't got any further in the story of Growlanser V and I haven't really started Da Capo yet. Recently, I have been spending more time on Unlimited Codes and Gundam games..

Currently re-playing Silent Hill 2. This is how I like horror games... psychologcial horror that manages to make you feel uneasy and scared with just the setting and atmosphere.

The background music alone can in some places can make you feel uneasy (Lakeview Hotel Lobby with that 'breathing' like BGM). Thankfully this game doesn't feature any loud noises accompanied with sudden enemies crashing out of nowhere... or better known as 'cheap scares'. Those really don't have much of an effect on me and become even more lame if used too often.

I like the use of long corridors/paths in some areas, creating senses of loneliness and basically giving you a bad reason to turn around and go back: Early in the game down the path from the Observation Deck and the hole in the wall inside the Historical Society Building, descending for a good minute or two with that strange sound coming from deep within. Also, those endless amount of deep holes and elevators, taking you further and further down.

I was going to buy Homecoming, but I've been told that it sadly doesn't live up to the previous games and started relating too much to the movie (which I didn't like due to it's huge deviation and mish mash of Silent Hill canon). I guess that's a result of Team Silent not being involved in the making of this one.
