Out of topic: HayashiTakara and KenjiHarima avatar really make me wanna try out R-V (since i really like Mizone's character designs). But i couldn't stand the ridiculous amount of unnecessary fan-services and censor. So...
Since excessive fanservice bother you... don't watch the anime (thats all the anime is about) read the manga instead.

Probably because he's main inspiration is the thick eyebrowed characters of Dragon Ball.

BTW the new "CUTE" girl out of KJ's comedic retard mind.

Anime version on the way.

Let's hope this doesn't turn out as horribly as SR's final eps did...

Anime version ! D:
Was SR's anime so bad ? If I remember exactly, it was not the studio fault but it's more with the mangaka's fault ^^;

It still was a pity that they skipped the whole Kyoto arc, and rushed the final arc only for the sake of making a concluding OAV...

The 1-24 episode of Sangakki was summarized in the dvd specials and yes it was the mangaka's fault.

Natsu no Arashi is something fresh out of the woodwork of KJ. Will be looking forward to this one.

Iam not sure if this comes from the limited edition manga. Vol.5 is out in Japan.

There are even cosplayers now. Though the girl cosplaying Jun is not a 13 year old.

Lol the cosplay. Is that supposed to be Arashi on left? Or is that master maybe?

Anyways, for those interested, here some translation of chapter 9 =)
NnA c9 (en)

We'll try to provide the next two, since we got them translated into French, but it'll take some lot more time to get chapter 12 and further, 'cause it's in Kansaiben (dialect of Kansai) and our translator got reeeeeally hard time with that.

But nice we managed to finally find the raws of volume 3 to 5.

So... Just like ANN says, the manga will end next month on chapter #50. Tankobon #8 will probably be out in November. It's such a damn shame animated version is the least selling Shaft show ever... It's not like the others, it's plot-driven, and only one more season would be enough to conclude it. But... some things just don't happen, I guess.

Then again, last three volumes of manga are a lot more dramatic, plot heavy and just overall more serious. It probably wouldn't mesh well with cheerful tone of season 2.

Personally what i wanted from the anime adaptation was to see the darker side of the story, because it was obviously there. I've got nothing against what we did see in the two seasons, because i heavily enjoyed it, though it's such a shame we won't see what i would like.

Ah well, hopefully i'll be able to check out the last three or so volumes eventually.

Well, this manga ended in september, and I'd like to know if it reached some type of conclusion or not. Any information about the end is greatly appreciated

That's exactly what I'd like to know. The story is interesting but it doesn't seem to have been such a great hit as School Rumble. Too bad since it makes me think about these people who made something great and after that disapeared into oblivion... So probably Jin Kobayashi is suffering from the same problem that Nobuhiro Watsuki and Naoko Takeuchi had. After Rurouni Kenshin and Sailor Moon they kind of disapeared into oblivion.

Ironically, other guys such as Ken Akamatsu and Rumiko Takahashi only get better and better...
