That's just mean.
Can Kanna even be considered a competetively viable character? I know a lot of bosses in most games are noobkillers but are pretty bad on the competetive level due to little things like delay in their attacks, lack of a versatile movelist, and their bulky size (which certainly applies to Kanna). Meh. |

Additionally, my experience fighting my friend's Kanna makes me believe she has more invul frames on wakeup. -.-

Uhmmm... I don't think it'd be really any good. I'm not really that good at EFZ and it's been quite awhile since I've last played EFZ. As an alternative though, many have already uploaded some nice EFZ matches over at youtube.
Here's EFZ3.10's better characters. IIRC, Kano was ranked as top in BME. Nayuki is more or less around there too, what with that mad pressure and mind games. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NCDfcyFVnE Kano was toned down for Memorial though. I didn't notice much change in Nayuki. I play pad

I'm not really sure for footsies, but I think I remember Makoto pressure being smoke grenade stationary and then a mixup of low attack and her instant overhead (663B?) Hit or miss, I think you IC it.
I'm not sure how effective this is in high level play, but I also saw someone mixing j.C and j.6C. The first for air-to-ground while the second is for air-to-air. Hope that helps.

Cosidering the speed I get with Toho IaMP netplay, which is deemed the best netplay patch to date, I don't think I'll get good FPS with EFZ netplay matches. -.-
So that's a no. xD I do play with my friends who drop by every week, but there's more Toho matches than anything else.

Here's a few vids with some basic combos for all the characters for those of you just starting out, some more practical than others. There's lots of eyecandy ones that are fun to watch.

Waha, you made me dust off my account here to post in this thread
![]() Yes, EFZ netplay is great fun, albeit rather latency dependant. We generally arrange matches on IRC (#efz @ irc.efnet.net). The more people, the better chance of finding a nearby opponent whom you have a good ping to! ^^ EDIT: Everyone in this thread should come visit us! :P Last edited by Blitzwing01; 2006-12-12 at 19:27. |

New netplay program for those interested. It's a huge upgrade over the previous one and let's matches across the country happen with little lag if both people are on good connections. (east coast to west coast, midwest to alaska, or even west coast to japan) If you're looking for people to play drop by the irc channel blitz posted above.

I see all these good quality images and videos, yet my image quality is terrible. It's like taking a small image and making it much larger. Anyone know what this is about?
And how does the window-mode work? EDIT: That was supposed to say "good" not "god," but it still sounded right LOL Last edited by Asrialys; 2007-02-18 at 02:11. |

IIRC, the window mode patch drops framerate real bad. It's better off for you to go play fullscreen with pixels than play with a severe dip in FPS. (Last I tried it, I remember 15FPS xD
![]() If you can somehow hook it up to a CRT TV, then it won't look so bad. xD EDIT: Mai combo muvi - I've never seen this many 9k+ combos in one vid. -.- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGB0oDvfHq4

I started playing it yesterday, and after testing them in Practice I kinda got attached to Amano Mishio, with her lance and elemental attacks
![]() Though, in Arcade Mode, I can't get past Unknown
