seen fromt he first couple of volumes i still have lying around (wanted to collect them stopped when i saw that it was still going and found it hopeless to continiue)
i guess they only changed the attack names (to English names) for so far as i can tell.. everythign else is the same

At that time, I... made a wish on the jewel... I made it when Byakuya cut Kagome. When I die... that wish will be granted...

Naraku is annihilated. At that time, a meidou appears behind Kagome.

The time of the conclusion has come...

This week resumes with Kagome with her bow readied.

Kagome: "I believe in this shot! My arrow will hit the Shikon no Tama!"

Kagome fires her arrow at Naraku, or rather the Shikon no Tama.

Inuyasha: "The arrow disappeared!"

Like it was sucked in, Kagomes arrow disappears while heading inside Naraku.

Kagome: "Please... pierce the jewel!"

Then the scene changes to Naraku. With the Shikon no Tama nearby, Naraku recalls Kagome's words.

Kagome: "Naraku... the Shikon no Tama didn't grant your real wish, did it?"

Naraku: "My... real wish...?"

Then an image of Kikyou passes through his mind.

Naraku: "That's right... I merely wanted Kikyou's heart."

Then Kagome's sacred arrow appears near Naraku.

Naraku: "Hmph... Even in the next world... Kikyou, it looks like I can't go to where you are..."

Kagome's sacred arrow hits Naraku beautifully.

In Kaede's village, the clumps of Naraku's shouki vanish. Miroku and Sango view this along with the other villagers.

Miroku: "The shouki around the village is being purified."

Then to Sesshoumaru's group. His three companions have already gathered near him.

Kohaku: "Did Kagome's arrow defeat Naraku...?!"

Then to Kagome herself.

Kagome: "Did I do it...?"

The next second after saying that...

Naraku's orb plunges towards Kagome. Inuyasha promptly moves her out of harm's way.

Sango: "Kagome-chan!"

Miroku: "Inuyasha!"

Miroku and Sango rush towards them.

Then Naraku, now just a face, appears above the Bone-Eater's Well along with the Shikon no Tama, now purified white with the arrow piercing it. Inuyasha's and Sesshoumaru's groups encircle him.

Naraku: "Hmph... at that time... I made a wish... on the Shikon no Tama..."

Inuyasha: "?!"

Naraku: "It was at the time... Byakuya of the Mirage... cut Kagome..."

Shippou: "She was cut by Byakuya?!"

Naraku: "When I die... that wish... will definitely be granted... The wish... I made on the jewel... was the wish... of the Shikon no Tama itself..."

Finally, Naraku is purified and disappears.

Everyone: "Naraku!"

And, the moment Naraku is annihilated, a meidou suddenly appears behind Kagome.

Inuyasha: "Wha... a meidou?!"

it shouldnt relly matter that much, inu can still enter the meidou and come out with her. all he has to do is grab her hand and go for a ride to the other side.

X207~ I'm sorry but sesshomaru had the meidou and he couldn't escape from hell
so i don't think inuyasha can do that
maybe if sesshomaru's mom comes again which isn't gonna happen

my memory is a bit fuzzy but from wat i remember sess let his mom's meidou close (after hell/meidou dog took rin to the other side) and he escaped by creating a new meidou to reach the living realm. if my memory is correct then inu should have no problem replicating it either.

edit: yup sess escaped from hell via the meidou he created, ch 470 pg 17. he did happen to make a meidou even if he purified the dead bodies. the possibility inu can make a meidou to free kagome still remains .

I think what its gonna come down to is that Kagome will have to make a tough choice. Either stay there with Inuyasha and the others or go back to her time and never see them again. For some reason, I have a big feeling that since the Shikon no tama is now purified, Kagome will somehow lose her ability to travel between time.

I really thought Inuyasha should have had a bigger hand in Naraku's death.....would have been cooler to see him be finished off by the Tetsiaga

thats a rather interesting choice she'll (R. takashi) have to make for kagome.

the funny thing about ch552 where naraku FINALLY bites the dust is overshadowed somewhat from kagome's predicatment from his death. after seeing her predicament i sorta forgot about naraku.

any sort of physical force wasnt going to do the trick to kill naraku was present from the begining. even so inu did get his good hits on naraku as it is.

np, not everyone can remember all the details. even now i forget details from the various manga ive read in the past.
