Hey Im just wondering right now....and i know it's been two years since the last mnh episode... i watched the anime and currently reading the manga... i'm beginning to see some differences... and i'm wondering of a remake of the anime...
please tell why you would like a remake or why you don't like or watever your reasons...

it's not about second season since the story really closed out... it's a remake of the story ok...

so-so...

I mean.....i wasn't REALLY satisfied with the ending but the whole anime was good for me.

For all of the buildup, the ending was just slightly anticlimactic -
like they ran out of money in the last 20 minutes. It would not
surprise me in the least if something like that happened.

This anime definitely needs a remake. The anime doesnt do justice for the manga.

Besides for the fact that in general the manga was great and had a lot of great things the anime didn't cover, the following words should be reason enough.

Spoiler: It was sweet, it was nice - but could have been slightly nicer - the scenes shown in the closing credits could have actually been part of another episode - episode 13 could have ended with the Midori confession and Seiji accepting it and then 14 could have shown "a day in the life" of the new couple. Don't get me wrong, I did like the ending - Midori's unabashed joy of finding out that Seiji had been watching her too was fun to see. It would have been nice to see Midori growing into her new life and happiness without regrets and also Seiji saying without a doubt how he felt without being vague. She needed to hear how he felt too. It ended nicely but you see how it could have been nicer yet. It also would have been cool if the creepy doll guy actually found the real-life-Marin-chan more fun to talk to than the doll - she was a cool character actually - someone to take him out of his figurine obsessed world and enjoy life.. It would also have been nice to see Ayase finding someone - that confession she laid on Seiji was great and he rebuffed her as gently as you could possible could - she deserves some happiness for sure. That being said, I enjoyed this series much more than I thought I would and there's LOTS of characters with unresolved situations that could be used in a prospective remake or second season - Seiji's sister, Ayase, the young guy who liked Midori, Midori's friend she met in the cafe for tea, etc. And there could have been an episode of Seiji showing Midori the diary (or maybe keeping it a secret from her and she finds it and starts reading it going "this is my writing, why don't I remember this?" and suddenly remembering, etc.) Lots of possibilities. But I hear the manga of this series is turning into a bit of Ah Megami Sama as the same plots go on forever without any resolution. Oh well. __________________ asb web: http://madsound.dyndns.org/
