Teehee, I had Ayu wings backpack long time ago. And this was back when Kanon 2002 wasn't playing yet. I had no idea what Kanon was and only seen the merchandises. They look great, specially the wings backpack looks really cute so I wear it for a while. But imagine my surprise when I bought the artbook and finally hit me what kind of game was Kanon. ^_^;;

Whoops
Do you still have the backpack? It'd probably be worth something on e-Bay (if you don't have any kind of attachment to it), being pre-anime merchandise.

Lol yes, I stil have it, but probably not going to sell it. Kanon and Air merchandises looks great, even back then before the anime.

I was a big fan of Air also. The merchandise usually has a theme of summer blue sky or wings, which looks really pretty. ^_^

I'm a Mai, fan - and there are better Mai PVC models out there. That one just doesn't capture the feeling at all. Also.. it doesn't look as good as it could be~

As opposed to Cospa event limited sales, Geestore now offers 200 of each, they're yours if you can match the price stated.

I'm getting old... or getting sleepy. I read that as Corpse event limited sales and visualised them selling corpses of the Kanon characters...

Oops.

On a slightly related note, Key's C71 goodies have been anounced. A special 3,000 yen package consisting of the following items will be on sale during the event:
  • 2007 Little Buster Calendar
  • Planetarian Drama CD
  • "Year of the Pig" Poster featuring Ayu and Botan (from Clannad)

Here's hoping that appears in stores just like the new OST did - wouldn't mind owning a copy.

For an instant, I thought that was Ushio... bummer(?)

That Little Busters calendar is tempting though. It looks like Yuiko-nee is going to be on that summer swimsuit piece = Hinoue Itaru swimsuit illustration? How rare is that? ^^;

Kyoani's selling some Kanon goods at C71 too, although it's nothing compared to the Haruhi lineup ^^;

Well, it's not so much "leaked" as "shipped early". My copy shipped yesterday from Amazon, even though the release date is technically January 1st. Guess they decided that there was no point in waiting. A bit unusual, but you won't see me complaining.

Ooo, you're right! Cheers for the heads up, mine did too...

...by DHL express. Amazon, I told you I wanted cheap shipping so I wouldn't get taxed to hell and back on the Air blurays -_-

Actually, you're not the first person I've heard comment that Amazon upgraded their shipping of Kanon for free. Either it's a glitch, or maybe they thought they were being nice and doing you a favour.

For me, either way I seem to get hit with 20% tax + fee, so I just pay the "fine". Thank you government of Canada.
