I don't know. I watched Nanoha's blasting through the maze (you guys know which part I'm talking about) and Tamura-san still sounded as if Nanoha remained in grade school. I was kinda hoping that she'll give Nanoha a slightly deeper voice.

A was ok. It was a bit funny to read the setup and realise that they spent half the series blasting each other and the other half helping each other to save Hayate. Then comes StrikerS, and they have to compromise simply because of higher-ups. The memes aside, the sheer amount of extra stuff to make the understanding better is quite breathtaking.

@al103: Oh, I thought that the ladies went to civilian duties. Them being instructors are very ok to me. Heck, the force probably needs more talent like theirs.

I have a personal take on Nanoha's memes. In the beginning, she's the Rx-78 in the form of a loli girl. Now, she's Wing Zero in the form of a young lady.

Frederica with zenryoku zenkai will not compute with any of the fans, that's what I'll say. It's become a meme in itself.

The one I can't compute is the video using scenes from the series, but with dialogue taken from Hellsing. Nanoha spouting Nakata Jouji... not very friendly to the brain.

I wouldn't expect Minagawa Junko's Cornelia from Tamura-san, much less the ladies who do boys very well. But, yeah, something like Sakakibara-san's work as Integra or Haman would do, minus the Large Ham of course.

Actually the voice of StrikerS Nanoha is slightly deeper, if compared with the first two series.

Oh, ok...

Still, I think the star of season 3 is Chiwa Saito. She seems to have made it, juggling 3 roles, I believe.

And in Force she reaches her pinnacle after the Nu form in StrikerS.

I think you mean Mai Nakahara.

She voices Teana Lanster, Laguna Granscenic and Megane Alpine.

I don't agree. You're asking for a 180-degree turnaround performance from Tamura here. Sure we have our Frederica moments, but Nanoha turning into that kind of a badass does not compute at all.
I'd take Burasutaa Three! rather than Ike! Fanneru! in my Nanoha series anytime.

Critical difference: Nanoha makes friends(and a daughter) while she's at it. The other just leaves carcasses of undead and mobile suits.

@Kyral: Ahh, my memory fails me, but if Tamura's able to put in performances like that, more power to her.
Also, both of them did three roles, though Saito has more exposure, being the Big Bad, the Rival and the Main at the same time. Personally I can't hear much of a difference between Nove and Subaru though.

Come to think of it, we haven't had a Voice Actor thread despite having this awesome cast for 2 whole years. wut.
Guess we don't have enough seiyuu fans in the fanbase here.

Subaru Nakajima, Nove, Quattro for Saitou-san. And yeah, I do believe seiyuu voice their characters according to age type, rather than personality types. Kugimiya Rie's Yandere role in 00 may be different from her Tsundere types, but hell, I can't hear the difference between the voices.

True. Sakakibara-san's voice may be way off, but surely Minagawa-san's Ayaka is ok, right? Besides, her friends are made because her weapon is non-lethal by itself. Of course, if it causes stuff to collapse, all bets are then off.

Someone should ask for a Voice Actress thread.

Ah, I forgott about Quattro, sorry.

And I see that Shizuka Itou also voiced 3 roles (Shario Finieno, Otto and Deed).
As well as Kaori Mizuhashi who was Vivio, Yuuno and Sein.

Well but nothing compared with Tetsuya Kakihara who voiced every german speaking male AI in the series.

Well, a lethal Raising Heart is canonically possible, just that she doesn't choose to. So she makes friends instead of carcasses.
Also, sadly(or luckily) I don't watch Negima.

Well, Nanoha is a kind-hearted girl, so yeah, lethal weapons are out, although I am convinced that by forsaking the killing part, it makes Raising Heart that much more stunning.

And remembering that Ryoko is Arf + a new member.....(Just watched Suzumiya Haruhi-chan.)

The Nanoha-Suzumiya Haruhi WMG is taking root in me.

Well, it would be unintentional. I was thinking, given a non-lethal weapon, wouldn't YOU want to use it to the max if the situation calls for it? Multi-purpose too. However, I'm sure any inter-galactic insurance company in the Nanoha universe would be crying everytime she does her stuff.

"But... it's the only thing Raising Heart can do!" When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Aye.

Which is why Nanoha is on standby as a instructor not on the front line

For another example I could say: "Vivio ist eine heilige Person." (Vivio is a holy person.) oder: "Vivio ist eine Heilige." (Vivio is a saint.)

I was just pointing out that Sankt can only be used as a titel.
I could never just say: "Vivio is a Sankt." people would give me strange looks.
But "Sankt Vivio" (Saint Vivio) would be correct.
So technically, since both heilige and sankt are used in the show, neither saint or holy is wrong, right?

*blink* Octo? You mean Otto?

Well, roll call on the converted numbers:

Page 07, top left frame from foreground to background: Deed, Sein and Otto. Taken in by the Saint Church.

Page 22, bottom right frame, going clockwise: Cinque, Nove, Wendi, Dieci. Adopted into the Nakajima family and recruited by the TSAB.
