Thumbs up Tristia of the Deep Blue Sea

It can't decide if it wants to be Ah! Megami Sama!, Slayers, Bubblegum Crisis: The Early Years, or Mobile Fighter G-Gundam... and that's a good thing.

Spoiler:

I'm really looking forward to this series.

I personally found it very cute and funny
It seems like it's from Studio ufotable which also did Dokkoider.
It's an OVA though, so it might take some times before the next episode come out I guess

I liked the first episode a lot--nothing profound but it was fun to watch. How many episodes is it supposed to be? I'm assuming it'll be longer than just the two-part golem competition--there are some hints at something sinister going on that could (hopefully) take a few episodes to develop.

It's only a 2 episode OVA.

It's done by the same people who did Tenbatsu! Angel Rabbie... they even re-used half the voice actors. >.>;

The games were done by two separate teams from KOGADO. Kuma-san team (bear team) did AUT, whereas Kuroneko-san team (Black cat team) did Angel Rabbie. They might've used the same VA's when they were creating the game, since KOGADO probably had a pool to choose from. However, I believe the animation is done by two totally different studios.

Only two episodes? I want more!

Okay, it was rather silly, but cute and I liked it.

I just love Ayako Kawasumi (Nanocas seiyuu), other roles are Aoi Sakuraba (Ai Yori Aoshi), Hikari (Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai) and Mahoro (Mahoromatic).

It's a mecha-fantasy anime, hmm... haven't really seen much of those. BTW, what ever happened to Angel Rabbie? Did they stop subbing it or am I just left out of the loop?

Tenbatsu! Angel Rabbie was a one shot OVA that was, in a sense, a parody of Magical Batton Twirler Angel Rabbie.

In case anyone was left wondering about the "to be continued in novel" thing at the end of Tenbatsu! Angel Rabbie, the following link is to the Rabbie Detective novel.

I thought the Goods section on the official website listed an actual book that was supposed to come out? However, I have found no trace of that book on amazon.co.jp, so maybe they decided to do this instead. The novel is being released in installments, with each installment being a few pages and a full color picture. The character designs are totally different, and there's a lot more fanservice -_-

Nope.
It's just some lighthearted comedy with no plot, point, etc.
Imo, it's not worth downloading, unless you like anime with lots of cute girls doing pointless, sometimes funny, things.

I think you're a bit harsh although the fact that if it has only 2 episodes it won't be able to develop that much but it has a storyline ; did you even bother downloading it actually?

No, I could tell only seeing the pics posted by ashibaka...

Seriously, I wouldn't consider that a storyline and not having one isn't necessarily a bad thing, after all it's a comedy.
I apologize if I sounded harsh, I didn't intend to.
What I meant by saying it's not worth downloading was that it's not funny enough to be worth the download time you spent on it.
I guess I'll still download the second OVA.

Hey.....it's not costing you anything to download it (unless if you take Internet connection as a cost).....no harm downloading it if you got the time and harddrive space. If don't like it after watching it, the mighty 'delete' command always does the trick lol.

P.S. Is the anime for Angel Rabbie worth watching? I heard it's a bit boring.....but I love the song for it by Under 17 though hehe.

It's a simple way to spend 30 minutes, but nothing spectacular. Remember, these videos are geared towards the fans of the games... (which is why they don't introduce anyone)

I'm finally downloading this! It looks like something I would like, except for the mecha part...but if that's in humour then it's all good :3! I found Angel Rabbie quite fun so I think I'll like this too! ^_^
