Am I allowed to preach anti-stupidity reform in this forum?

The one reality show I liked a lot, but im not even sure if it's on anymore, is that one on basic cable where they have two teams of special forces. One is made up of military specialist, like marines, green berets, navy seals ect. And they go up against a team made up of cops and swat members and guys like that. They have to take turns completing missions that range from Rescuing hostages, killing terrorist, planting explosives ect. They use real guns with blank ammo and laser tag like technology on the end of their guns. They also have the vest that tell them when they've been shot. They get a mission and have to make up a plan and execute it, the team that completes it fastest with fewer casualties, wins.

Anyone know what im talking about? what's that called and when is it on?

Why are they called reality shows if it's a contest? If I'm watching Survivor, a so-called "reality" show, why are they always going through things like obstacle courses?

Exactly!! I'd rather watch Takeshi's Castle aka MXC on Spike TV here in the U.S. if I want a real contest.

Why you don't have to run through an obstacle course to get to work or school. Just the other day I had to eat meal worms .

How is lets Make a Deal a reality show? I remember that show from the 80's.

Just the other day, I was watching a reality show called "1000 Leagues" where there was a small shark posing as a sea bass. There were a lot of female sea bass trying to get to mate with him because he supposedly had a great location in the coral, but then when the winner found out it was actually a shark, she got eaten!

I don't know why that show has become so popular, though. Especially since shark-related deaths have been on the rise lately.
