Surprise and maybe happiness, followed by a general sense of dread that will then come to fruition as it is disregarded by everyone else. I doubt there will be any scenes really and if there are they won't be much more than what we have now.

Well, I hope the words/music will catch what we will see on screen. (like O2). The first OP was pretty good (music and scenes)

I'm sure it will be well synced with the music like the first openings for season 1 and R2. The words worry me to a large degree though and I'm just worried about the images that will appear.

BTW I'm also sad because the O2 single was far from great. They didn't even include the TV remix or an instrumental version, while the single by Flow has it =(

I was disappointed by it as well. Nothing can be done about it though and that's a very unfortunate fact of life.

Maybe they thought the TV remix was crap, and an instrumental will be a waste of time because the song is hard to sing.

That would be a very stupid reason. Still, I wonder about those images. I suppose there will be a lot more Kallen images to reflect her importance now, some more scenes with V.V. and Charles, something with Marianne, maybe some more scenes with C.C. like that confusing one at the start of the current opening.

The new characters coming along may also be given a flash or two in the OP though. Maybe Schneizel as well, just like before..

Meh, maybe a few scenes yet they can only fit so much in an opening. I guess there will only be one LelouchXKallen scene then.

um... i hate to interrupt an off-topic conversation, but has anyone found a the vocal-less version of Callin' used in episode 120? the part where zero hands the energy filler to suzaku.
well, it's not vocal-less, but the intro is, and I think it's much better than the original.

Anyway, back to O2... I find it scandalous that the full single was such trash compared to the TV remix. The vocals in the full single sound weak as shit, even offtune when comparing the first verse with the TV version's. Did the 30 second sample of O2 use the single or TV version?

I believe Callin' to be on the second Code Geass OST

The O2 full version was a big disappointment for me too, I prefer the TV version of O2 over the original, only a few songs are like that for me (and usually because the original sucks). For your last question though, I have no idea, sorry.
