Anime similar to School Rumble

Im lookin for anime similar to that of School Rumble. I really enjoyed it and am hoping there will be a third term. Atleast I think there is supposed to be a third term coming out, im not really sure though. If any one knows can they confirm it with me? Cuz the ending for the second term sorta shows that their should be a third term but im not sure. Anyway if anyone knows of anything simiar to School Rumble can they plz tell me? Thank you

Watch Kare Kano for a school comedy where the couple actually gets together, instead of just teasing you with the possibility.

hmmmm...... looks interesting, but I sorta like it the way they tease you thru the show. Maybe getting the couples toghether at the end whould be nice.. but it doesnt matter all that much too me. Ill try Kare Kano out anyways cuz I tend to like the comedy/romance types. thank you

Anyone else got suggestions for anime like School Rumble?

Well you could try one of the greatest exponents of the whole school comedy genre and one of the series School Rumble was based upon. Azumanga Daioh. It is very similar to School Rumble in the format, minus the romance.

hi guys, 1st post..... yoroshiku.....

hey ak47, its quite hard to find something similar to school rumble IMO.... the anime is just so well set out, with wonderful characters, cute animation, sound (OPs) and hilariuos slapsticks, i still haven't found anything that matches it....

i think kare kano is quite funny also with a good love story, but a bit more serious (especially towards the end) not as relaxing to watch IMO

here are some suggestions of anime with simliar setup and thats worth watching

Ouran Koukou Host Club - as funny as school rumble (slapsticks), but the drawings r quite different

Kamisama Kazoku - a typical romantic comedy IMO

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu - this is just as funny as SR, but u might need to watch the original 1st to know what it talks about

Midori no Hibi - classic romance/comedy

To be honest there are VERY few shows that can reach School Rumble's originality, comedy and constant pace of laughter.

However

GTO has MANY hilarious moments.

Fushigi Yuugi is one of the best comedy animes ever
.

DearS! episode 11 i think probably had one of the funniest moments in anime ever even if the show was pretty crappy itself.

Midori No Hibi has some hilarious stuff.

Those i listed above with this one anime that starts with A (about an angle that always clubs this poor guy to death) are probably among the funniest. Other stuff is generaly generic. Those shows truely make you laugh.

I especially recommmend Fushigi Yuugi and GTO.

hmm... I will have to second Azumanga Daioh and GTO.

But does anyone know anything about there being the possibility of a new season of School Rumble?

Well School Rumble is pretty much in a class of it's own, but if i had to recommend good school comedies..

Azumanga Daioh - funny funny funny
Pani Poni Dash - mix between Azumanga Daioh and Excel Saga
Genshiken - reality of college otakus
Cromartie High School - 12 minutes episodes, quick watch

Those picks aren't for everyone, lotsa parody in each with references which makes them hard to follow for some, check reviews just to be on the safe side ^^

school rumble dominates the comedy+romance genre, for me... the way of its harem is just soooo original and so lovely.
you may want to try Midori no Hibi i best recommend this after watching school rumble ^^,
just to move on to another genre bit by bit..

try watching InuKami, Gintama if you're just missing out a laugh =)

also:
Working!
Baka To Test - Closest on school rumble (for me), but with Fantasy, doesn't matter XD
To LoveRu - Comedy+Romace | Harem

In all seriousness though, School Rumble is too much to ask for, that's like asking for something like Death Note, which I would have no answer for.

I have to ask this question though:

Why are y’all suggesting to a thread that’s posted 5 years ago? Nobody even revive this thread by asking new questions/suggestions. Do you think the original poster of this thread still haven’t solve the issue after years went by?
