My-HiME: Kokuyouguu

What is the translation of Kokuyouguu? Mashiro tells the 7 HiMEs at the end of episode 14 that the place where they meet is Kokuyouguu. This is the place that Lord Kokuyou is later in the series. I looked up guu, but all I got was 'even number, couple, man and wife, friend' I think maybe its a reference to how Kokuyou marries the winner, but why would they name the place after that?

'Kokuyou no kimi' in english is oblivion lord.

I think it would mean something like Obsidian Shrine? Palace? The kanji for Kokuyouguu is 黒曜宮 and "guu" alone does not turn up anything in my dictionary. But it is paired up with another kanji which makes the word mean "imperial palace".

Of random curiosity i put these kanji through usually less-than-unusable worldlingo service and... what is it say? 'black heavenly body shrine'... hmm...
