Well but Darker than Black is very oriented towards a anime like Cowboy Bebop

Now if it is Yin, who is the narrator, she won't definetly die.
Well that is the only good thing.
And there is also a good hope for her returning to a more normal life, and gaining back her soul.

But in Hei's case i can only see one future for him.....

Episode 19, another typical DTB ep...Your left not understanding enuff, yet you are enchanted by the high-level animation and eccletic appeal of the show...19 episodes deep in a 26 ep series you are what you are and DTB is a "slice of life" anime under the templet of psycological action-thriller, and that's how I'll approach it for the rest of the series...I know now with only 7 eps left many answers we want will not be given, but I'm not that mad as I enjoy this show for more than the plot revelations (Lol It seems I have no choice anyways)...Great BGM's from Yokko in this episode aswell, and Huang good for you, get your middle-aged bum groove-on^^...

And the Skull Man. Then there's Jyu-Oh-Sei, which wasn't really their own, but still.

I watched the first episode again. One of the guys that died mentioned that when contractors are created, they are also imprinted with a personality (just like dolls?) Perhaps this imprinted personality is to enable them to carry out their work by being antipathetic to the people they have to kill, but they still retain whatever personality they had before being imprinted with a new one. Maybe that's why they could still "feel" sometimes, when their imprinted personality is not kicking in - like how April was disappointed that she could outdrink those guys in the bar.

episode 19 has the greatest Sakura kissing scene ever! Huang FTW! and we now know why Huang hates Contractors that much, it surely doesn't have anything to do with jealousy or sour grapes

Episode Current 19 Reset

I heard that Eureka's hospital bed scene homaged the Asuka hospital bed scene in End of Evangelion, but this takes it into an entirely strange area.

The piano music in that hospital bed scene is excellent.
Episode Current 19 21:07 Ayase Terada

I think the person who did the Story Board for She Cryed was the director for Saikano, and I think someone mentioned a connection (sorry I did not look back to give proper credit) from She Cryed to Code Geass, but I am clueless on Code Geass.

But I do know She Cryed & Saikano and
Spoiler for the parallel is perfect between Akime & Ayase.:

Kaoru Chujo, Kashima, aohige, Shirot, madarabe and many others who like episodes 17-18 were right and I was wrong in my evaluation, as they did set up the slow roll for this episode (#19).

I like Mai the best (3-4 are personal favorites) but this episode is my favorite after those 2.

So many things ring true in this episode 19
Spoiler for bell ringing headaches:

episode 19 title is what translated, again? You know, after actually watching the episode.

I do not know about kill-em-all

But I think Saikano and Eureka seveN are definitely more critics darlings than actual people liking them... Re-watch the first 2 episodes of Eureka seveN again, plenty of references/foreshadowing to the above, maybe not the classic kill-em-all, but who mentioned before death being beyond bitterness?

Sorry I know this is not the Eureka seveN thread

I just wanted to clarify 1 technical point, I say Eureka I mean exclusively the Eureka seveN Japanese DVDs from Japan w/ one needs to find the subtitles (one knows how to do that via the usual methods).

kanashii yo Darker Than Black

Episode 19 backtracking to Episode 16

Spoiler for The hospital scene episode 19:

Spoiler for Episode 16 Desu:

piano piece that goes with the hospital scene is by far the best music piece of the series.

The Tone of the ending to Darker Than Black:
Eureka seveN watchers remember the quote "That Bus Has Already Left."

Hey tresor, you might want to use the "edit" function of the message, rather than posting new post 3~4 min in between.
You posted 5 posts consecutively, but it could have been edited to be half that.
