I admit I was as confused as Aohige after watching episode 5. My reason for the confusion was that how the dialogues in the movie were being interrupted, but it turns out the interruption was very important to follow the plot point. Thanks Sshock2.
I also understand now by the question asked by one of the accomplice as to why the two accomplice were helping the Skullman-impostor, Usami, and later, have betrayed him..."The voice of God... Is it not possible for me to hear it?" and Usami's reply was, "The Voice of God is the gospel of the chosen. A servant like you hasn't the right to hear it."In other words, what ever Usami says, goes. Those two just need to follow. Obviously, the accomplice didn't approve most of the killings Usami undertook, and it was time to cut loose. My remaining confusion is that I still don't clearly grasp the significance of the Nietzche reference other than the usage of those famous words, "God is dead." I'm loving this series!
