A-kraze...I find.
Quality is great, subs are good [they are bad in ep1 but get better] and everythings jst overly good...except dark scenes with can be blurry or choppy.

i went with keep/anbu because they had the the 1-24 batch and krazes were unbatched at the time. I did dl the 1st and 2nd ep of kraze because the video quality on the first 2 eps are heaps better than keep/anbu's. I do remember kraze missing the spelling on some of the names. I dont know anything about their new .mkv releases and Solar's subs seem to be incomplete.

From what I've heard A-kraze's version has better translation. Plus that their editing flows a lot better.
And since they're re-releasing it with a DVD source now (plus engligh and chinese audio), they're definately the best choice.

A-Keep and ANBU because A-Keep encoder is my good friend. Must support him! Yes I am biased.

I'm sure both groups are great.
I went with Keep+ANBU. They're releases were fine and the couple of Kraze episodes I saw annoyed me in minor ways (I don't really remember...).
Over all I'd say Anime-Kraze's .mkv DVDsubs. But they're ploding along very slowly with them...

Keep & ANBU because their font is actually nice and readable on a TV screen, and not fancy gimmicky crap

Note the Kraze DVD Rip version has the nicest video quality, yes, but the font is horribly small again (though no longer gimmicky) - why can't they just let us change the size of the fonts like with OGM???

Heh. Someone needs to get better glasses. You cant change the font because they're using subs in .ssa format. Which is a lot better than .ogm's .srt format for a number of reasons.
My only problem with them is they've given the subtitles no overscan compensation and I don't seem to be able to ajust the posistion of the subs either. Meaning they play out of the picture on my TV.

Well, that's stopping no-one. If you were using mplayer, you could change the font nevertheless.

This has been another fine use of the the contrary to fact present conditional.

hehe..It sure was..Beside the best judgment is making ones own...Download the first 2 episodes of those two fan-subs, make your judgment and keep downloading the rest from the group that agrees with you...

Keep and Anbu because of better translation and attention to naming details.

Kraze got a number of the gun-related names incorrect AFAIK. Mauzel instead of Mauser et al. Shannon Casull was mispelled as well I think. I talked with the translator from Keep and he called the super void spell that sinks the Skid as Ginnungurap instead of Naraku bc thats what it was called in the Sutepri novels I was told, although both are essentially the same thing -- a void description.

these things are always so hard to compare and often it depends on personal preferences. I watched parts of both group and in the end i went for anime-kraze because i liked their font more and because they didn't change the names into a weapon (i know this was intentional by the anime's creators), somehow they sounded more like real names to me, but as I said, only my personal opinion...

I don't see why you would be happy that they translated the names incorrectly. Do you call people in other animes by different names bc you don't like the name they were given? ;p
