An alternative rock band that had its run in the 1990ish time called Tribe - their song "Outside" (presented in the first Rock Band compilation). Its quite addicting and surreal.

The band is out of print but they have an artist/fan collaborative website to keep the music available:

Damn how vast the world of anime and its music. I just spent the last hour remembering a very large part of growing up: Rockman.EXE.

The overall series itself was never really that good, but wow, did I sure get some heavy hits of nostalgia tonight. This was one of my first transitions from English version to Japanese version series, and it's no wonder why I prefer Japanese to this very day.

Spoiler for This is my childho...um, preteen years!:

"Begin The Try": This song was so powerful compared to the lyric-less, stereotypical tunes they shoved into the American version. Still love this song to this day.

"Be Somewhere": Megaman NT Warrior was the name of the translated cartoon on TV, and even that was entertaining (because what else was I gonna watch...4Kids One Piece? *shudder*). So imagine hearing this song and learning that there was an ass kicking third season where the childlike novelty of flashy transformations existed. I listened to this so many times.

Ashiato: Rockman.EXE Beast was the point where I actually started getting into the world of anime, and I basically walked away from this series (and let's face it, Beast was pretty bad). Still, this song lingers on in my memories, and it's still nice today.

Heart Wave: If you go on the unsuccessful hunt for a full version, I feel your pain. This song was really awesome back then (~~unlike the show, amirite?!~~), and it was the first instance I had come across that never got a full version for an opening. To this day, it sadly does not have one.

Feel Inside (English): Damn this song. It's only like a minute long, and it's a dubbed song...but I have a strange attachment to this damned tune. It doesn't even have a solid quality available on the internet because it was only a short insert song. The audio quality dies in the middle because it was edited to remove an annoying voice, but it's unfortunately the best on YouTube. There's the original version with all the sounds and stupid side character singing along which sounds cleaner, but I'll take this over that. This song is the only semi-positive memory I have of this awful season.
