Looking for Help
As much as I hate to place ads out on forums or any other places, I've finally caved in.
I'm project lead and co-founder of Infinite-Zero. We used to be called Ignition-One and we've been around almost 2 years now. We're a small group and extremely slow. This is impart to the fact that we don't have a full-fledged translator. I've acted as translator for the last two years on all of our projects. While I think I do an adequate job, I'm much too slow for the other two members (who serve the timer and encoder roles in conjunction with each other). I'd really like to pick up the pace on our series for more people to enjoy. So here goes: - We're looking for a Japanese translator. You don't necessarily need to speak perfect English or speak perfect Japanese. Just need someone to make primary translations into English that are somewhat accurate and on a regular basis. - You need to be in contact with me often as I serve as the primary editor and clean translations up for diction, grammar, and syntax. While email works, I prefer that you use a chat service where I can reach you like IRC, AIM, or MSN for easier contact. - I'm rather flexible and can accomodate if you need help with other facets. I'm also open to suggestions for series that you may be interested in on top of the ones we're doing currently (and planning to). Our current series are Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko (subbed in the traditional format but honestly had a fair amount of inaccuracies) and Gear Fighter Dendoh (previously unsubbed). We're on Ep 2 for Yohko and 10 for Dendoh. If anyone's interested, please post here, leave a message with me on IRC in our channel #Infinite-Zero on ETG or email me at ShoutaShura@yahoo.com If this isn't allowed here, feel free to close up the thread mods. |
