I wouldn't say Eureka is anything like Rei, but I would agree that the comparisons in the case of OER are mostly due to the physical appearance. Same with Nia, for that matter - Eureka seems to have become a modern anime archetype.

This was great from beginning to end then again anything involving Kinshiro usually is.Poor Sora had no choice to but reveal her monster form in front of the town folk no thanks to that conniving Akai and that blue monster. Can't wait next week for the exciting conclusion now that Sora's identity is known.

This was a fairly serious episode. It's nice that the characters can be put into serious situations even though the overall tone so far has been comedy.

I like the contradictions we've seen in the blue monster's persona lately, and how in contradiction to her development, Akai seems to be getting nastier (and more desperate about not being the "outsider" in every situation) every week.

This was great with a lot of comedy accompanying the tense atmosphere of seikichi and sora facing their demise. Luckily they escaped with their lives thanks to Gennai. Akai's treachery and involvement with the blue monster is finally exposed. The story seems to be heading for a big climax soon with all these exciting consecutive episodes definitely looking forward to next time and what will sora, the blue monster and her clone do now that another spaceship has been found.
