I think laugh would probably be what you'd do, as it's a comedy, that's generally what you do with a comedy. If it were a tragedy I suppose you would cry.

It is possible that Evangelion@School might make fans of Evangelion cry and laugh at the same time.

Only because they tend to take the show far to seriously since it is generally regarded as one of the top anime of the 90's. Like I said though, I'm a fan of the series and I have no trouble having fun watching a parody knockoff of it. It's only the people who practically live the series (Cosplay, Buy all the DVD's, Posters, Rei Ayanami Bandage Figurine) who would have a problem with it I assume. Unfortunately they are such a large bloc of the shows fans it looks like the franchise won't have as large an audience as Gainax believed.

Meh, maybe I was too shocked by the news to accept SD Eva so readily at first... but I've reconciled with myself. It does sound funny. However, like Shiroth said, there is no actual news of a plan to animate this as of now.

2007 = year of the mecha revival, indeed.

WFT, chibi Evangelion?
Seriously, how much more money does Gainax want to make with Evangelion?

Dunno, ask Lucasarts the same question about Star Wars franchise.

Now that's a better question by far than any asked as of yet. Probably a fair bit would be my guess

The thing that Neon Genesis Evengelion outstanding for me was the serious psychological + dementia factor...
Evengelion wasn't made for airheads and I totally don't enjoy the fact that they're going to turn it into a ridiculous rabu-rabu romance comedy just to make more money... It doesnt need 1334543214 alternate univereses.

Ewok Adventure series anyone? Or Droids? I actually caught the second series on reruns growing up and had no idea it was Star Wars until I saw Empire Strikes Back in Grade 5 and made the connection. It was really bad even for my age at the time. The first link is just a movie. What is scary is that Droids may in fact be C Canon.

Ditto. I love the chibi character designs, and this seems to be well done. ^ ^

Cool so it's going to happen. *Ticks off another new mecha series* Awesome! Hope it's as good as SD Gundam.

According to information on Moon Phase this is not a TV series. It's just 3 short films that will be used at Eva events and streamed on the net.

I will probably laugh the whole time.

It's just toooo cute. ^_^

Eva is my favorite series of all time, but this is just QUALITY.

Kinda fortuitous that I am just about to start reading NGE: Angelic Days when I saw this thread...

And now my mood is ruined.

What....? Crap. This means it's never coming to America and/or getting subbed, right? >_>
