I think its kind of interesting everyone goes for the 'cycle motif (ergh, I'd forgotten about Hulk Hogan) when I originally adopted the look for 'Society of Creative Anachronism' reasons many decades ago. My persona was an 11th Century Norseman (or Irish Celt with a bit of decoration change).

I guess I should put that outfit on and take a pic.

I'm half-white, most of which is misc. German, and the rest English and Irish. Other half is Chinese.
It's funny that you mention Russian, when I took a vacation there I noticed a lot of people who looked kind of like me.
