I just dl'ed them last night and when i went to watch them this morning i couldn't watch either of them in any of my media players and i almost have too many of those.....but in properties it doesn't say what codec is used...though i am pretty sure i am up to date on all of them. so i was wondering if anyone else had problems with these files.

gspot is a handy tool which tells you what codec was used and if the file is corrupt or not.

For playback issues, did you read the media configuration guide ? You probably need to either install ffdshow or xvid 1.0 beta3.
