Corel Painter tutorials?

Hi,

so I wondered if theres any Corel Painter tutorial that shows you around how to use the program, draw with it and in the same way shows you how to draw manga/anime stuff with it.

Since I found it very different from drawing with a pencil anyway ^^

Try these;

Linky, Linky and yet again Linky.

As much as I don't like the GIMP, in my opinion it's better than Corel Painter. So I'll link download the GIMP out of kindness

JR~

Heh, well I never got along with the GIMP Interface ^^

Hm thanks for the links;

I wonder are there any video tutorial series (probably buyable then); like for Maya there were a couple of these series on how to do different things with it
Like for Animation, 3d Modelling etc.
So some series working with corel painter but alongside also explaining the drawing of manga/anime with it?

You probably wont find "available to buy tutorials" for how to draw anime/manga on corel painter specifically. But like, just youtube around or find some general how to use tutorials for painter. Learn the tools and techniques, then apply it to whatever drawing style u want.

For example, you can learn about layers from some tutorial featuring like some muscley guy, but then u can apply the layers understanding to a anime picture u may be working on. Same thing goes for most of the other functions or tools.

Also, if u have any specific questions, u could just ask here too
