I thought Primula's ed was good.

Thumbs down

I do believe my heart fell into my stomach and was devoured by acids while watching Memories, the original series was far better, I watch the original almost daily to grab screencaps and the like for graphics, so I wont go back anywhere near Memories again. For now I must have the PS2 games with Kareha in them as a central figure as well as the artbooks.

i'm a new viewer..i've never given the original shuffle a proper watch (just bits and pieces that a friend showed to me, which i didn't really pay attention to either)...and i have to say, shuffle memories is one of the worst, if not THE worst anime series i have EVER seen..which is saying a lot because i've seen many thousands of hours worth of anime (no exaggeration), hundreds of anime series/ovas, dozens of anime movies

edit: i've seen up to ep 7 of shuffle memories so far..and the only thing i can really say aside from the fact that it sucks is

A) i want to eviscerate Rin
B) i love kaede..sure, she can be a little crazy at times but that's all part of her charm

today I finally decided to watch the last episode...

I almost died laughing. I did not expect that... the look on primula's face was Priceless!
that is a screen shot keeper.

I have to change my rating to a solid 7 out 10!

usually i dislike beach/bikini episodes, this one was worth it.

This serie is just meaningless, Navel had to make a serie on really really or tick and not that

TBH, my rating for this is so low because I didn't enjoy it as much as Shuffle! I found Shuffle! to be more exciting, better and simply greater. It's comparable to watching Suzumiya in chronological order.

oops...havent stepped my foot in this forum for ages

if my "memories" serve me well i would have given this a -1,000 out of 10 : Painful as Paul Neil Milne Johnstone of Redbridge poetry for total crap...sounds harsh i know but it cant be helped...but looking at the plus points ~

while i didnt really care for the new OP/ED seeing primula has to bump it up by a level or 2...but the saving grace comes from ep 12...so at least this series deserves another 2 levels up...if you divide the amount of crap with ep 12 and the number of ratings involved i guess ill give it a ~ 0 out of 10 : Painful as not knowing where your towel is (which is already OUCH! >.<)

i hate how it was just a recap of all the characters except the last episode i think they could have made shuffle memories funnier than shuffle! but they didnt they just wasted a good thing they could make a new one tho but i want the demon girl or god girl to win i forgot their names they could still make a new series they would just have to break up thats all

i cant hate a recap of the number 1 my favs series but ... you know making a series of recaps is a bit cheap, it would be better if they made some ovas with alternative endings (more exactly on the girl who he chose).

i havent watched this but i will get it anyways its shuffle and in shuffle appears kaede.

lol

Only a bit interest in Kaede arc and Asa Arc (last two part of the series)...
And the OVA is the good episode in different scenes.

After coming back to the Shuffle! forums after a long absence, I am confronted with Shuffle! Memories, and quite honestly, I am uncertain if even I as a very avid Shuffle! fan should watch it. I would therefore like to ask you folks around here: if it was just for newer / unreleased video material, should i watch it? The story obviously left aside... would I flaw the memories I have of a wonderful 24 episode experience? Tank you in advance!

If you can find SOME way of watching only the OP/ED, I'd watch that.... and the last episode is a wierd bit of fluff that should be watched with the logic circuits turned completely off.

I've finally gotten around to watching episode 12 of Shuffle Memories on the suggestion of others to avoid the rest of the series so to not waste my time.

I wish the rest of the series was original content like the final episode of Memories...even if it was purely fan service. I enjoyed the first series so much, thinking about it now it just seems like so much of a waste of potential. Though, this last episode does have me wondering, whether or not it takes typical OVA format and doesn't go with the series canon, or takes place at some point around episode 9 or earlier (or w/e the beach episode was)

One quick question though, did any other groups sub memories other than Ayako? What happened to KazonoKoe?

The only reason I even bothered with ep12 was because of the Haruhi Suzumiya reference.

Hold it... I've watched episode 12, but what's this about a Haruhi reference?

During a segment where everyone's trying to capture a magical fish, Mayumi paraphrases Haruhi's introduction. Seemed fair enough since issues of Comptiq and CompAce with SHUFFLE! characters on them were featured in THAT SAME EPISODE of SHnY.
