Arakawa under the Bridge live action drama and movie

Arakawa under the Bridge by Hikaru Nakamura is getting a TV drama adaptation. It will start broadcasting in summer 2011. Also there will be a live action movie to be released in 2012.

We got a glimpse in the first ending of Bridge x Bridge. It works, but will creep you out. Thankfully, most of the cast is moderately more human.

I want to know what are they smoking or on when they made this. It looks like some thing you have to watch well on acid or high as a kite to watch this

That's a fair assessment of the anime version of Arakawa as well. Shaft's eccentricities can't make it to live action, but if it can achieve, say, a Carranger level of weirdness, that'd be satisfactory.

HAHAHA ALREADY A MOVIE? I love Arakawa to death and we've already seen that it can be converted into live-action (previews, ed sequences). I'm very excited for this.
