i think it's a strange idea that souls even have blood. i thought they leave the messy bits behind when they die?

I wonder if they're similar to hollows and just disappear after death.

it was said somewhere (i think by kaien) that when shinigami die the spirit particles that make up their bodies become part of soul society. so all those buildings they live in? yup, made from dead dead guys.

also, hollows don't just disappear (unless ishida kills them...). being 'killed' by a shinigami purifies their soul and returns them to the human<->plus cycle.

I mean their body, not soul. Lol, they really do live on the ground their ancestors built.

...I'd hate to know where their food comes from then. Because those have to be made from spirit particles too, right?

Also. I don't care who Kisuke is, I just want his hat. Simple. As. That.

Don't be silly, Kamyu. Hollows go to candy mountain when they are purified. When they are killed they go to Soul Society, it's where Yumichika and that obnoxious dude is.

Completely forgot obnoxious dudes name, but I know I'll remember it eventually. I think he was Soi Fon's vice captain. Not entirely sure, can't remember anything about obnoxious dude other then he was a dude...

and he was very obnoxious.

To be more on topic... I think Kisuke Urahara might be anything, from a talking penguin in disguise to the king of soul society. With Tite Kubo, everything is in the air.

still awesome, and there's probably some explanation for it, too, assuming the film took place after this current manga arc... but still...

yeah, you're right, and the original exile had nothing to do with rukia so erasing her shouldn't have done anything to undo the exile. in fact, removing all memories involving rukia would likely also mess with events that could reveal his innocence and end up preventing the removal (or prompting the reinstatement) of his exile.

Well there are 2 options:
1. He was cleared to enter after SS arc, or
2. He came up with a way to get through.

-All of central 46 has been completed annihilated leaving no one left who would willingly uphold such a banishment (with the exception of perhaps Soifon. )

-After Aizen's betrayal, those among the Gotei 13 (including Yamamoto) who witnessed Urahara's banishment had to have realized his innocence by now.

-Yamamoto (who's assumed to have taken over for Central 46 for now) has accepted aid & assistance from Urahara in preparation for the winter war.

So although we're not explicitly told when or how Urahara's banishment from Soul Society was recently dealt with, I think it's safe to assume the likely possibility that certain things have changed if we consider the above 3 points. Needless to say, I'm almost positive he's not banned anymore. But I could be wrong.
