I have seen many music videos based on some variation of the Lucky Star opening theme song but I am still hoping to see a music video showing clips of the actual show.

If this is fake, whoever did it deserves some kind of medal for kidnapping the seiyuus, renting a studio, recording the intrumentals tracks, and mixing the whole the thing within enough time to have the girls home by curfew.

Since that didn't happen, I think it's safe to say this is legit.

Woah, I don't think what the guy did was clear-cut illegal. The final decision is up to the mods, so give the guy some slack. He just made a mistake. Mistakes happen.
