Lots of people, but this is not a discussion thread. If you want to discuss the Organization please do so in The world of Claymore.

I think it could be best classified as action. There are some tragic elements though

I kid, I bet Clare does not completely understand the feelings she's feeling, so that was the only way she could express how much she cared for the boy.

They're age difference is not so huge i don't think (certainly their non-combat maturity level isn't so different)...you have to remember clare entered as a little girl, even now (and more so in the manga) she looks like she is in her very early 20s (i could even go so far as to say 18-19), she prolly a lot like a young teenage girl when it comes to anything not warrior related. Raki is a teenager..

Clare stopped aging. For all we know, she could be 200.

Thats why i threw in the parts about maturity...doesnt matter if she is 4 million if she has the mental age of 16..but it is also possible she is actually only 20 or something

That's an "usual" way of showing she cared..she could've brought Raki to McDonald's or given him a puppy or just say I "care fo' you".

Probably not. Though the actual answer is unknown, the fact that it went waaaay off the manga by the final episode makes it rather unlikely.

Hi. Just watched the entire series yesterday afternoon. It was sweet, I was up until 4 am watching the last episodes of the first season.

My question: How is Flora's Windcutter different from Clare's Flash Sword (okay, technically it's not her technique, but let's not split hairs)?

As far as I know, the Flash Sword is performed by awakening only her arm and directing its power in the direction of the enemy, but I'm not sure if Windcutter Flora's technique is similar, the same, or completely different.

Windcutter involves pinpoint youki control to cause immediate acceleration. Flash Sword is a controlled awakening of a single arm. As a result Windcutter has less power and speed than Flash Sword, but greater precision. Windcutter is also a much less dangerous technique for the user.

Edit: Fixed a confusing typo, thanks DazarGaidin.
