Nero 7 shortcuts and file associations in Japanese

My system locale is set to English (United Kingdom), but I do have the East Asian Language support, the Japanese IME and Microsoft AppLocale installed. When I installed Nero 7, although the program itself remains in English, the startmenu shortcuts and the file association names are all in Japanese. Does anyone know how to fix this?

That's odd, I have my system's non-uncode support set to Japanese and the entire installer ran in Japanese for me. The shortcut descriptions were in Japanese, but the shortcuts themselves were in English.

Two fixes for you: 1) rename them yourself, 2) reinstall. It's odd that Nero would pick up on your Japanese IME support; perhaps try running the installer through Applocale set to English.

Hmm, well, Nero basically deleted itself when I tried to use ProductSetup's update feature, so I uninstalled it and installed the latest version (7.8.5) and now it's working okay.
