Yeah, that chapter didn't do anything for me. Felt like a waste... was glad the spread from the next volume was included in the release though.

Yea it was a useless chapter... but it was a .5 so those tend to be unproductive. Though I have to say the Umi no Misaki tankoban chapters tend to be pretty good, least when its one of the maiden's as a lil kid.

Usually the chapter has a date posted on the last page. Chapter 81 and 81.5 both do not.
Is the schedule every two weeks? Or does my lack of translator skills continue to jack me up?
Also on a similar note, has the Quake affected publishers in general? I know, how could it NOT. Many other mangas seem to have changes in release dates/times. Since I don't follow a lot of others, I just don't know.

So the new series is a non-romance all-girls manga? Pretty boring concept if you ask me, I'll most likely skip it and hope it fails fast so that he does something more interesting in the future.

I will give the author the benefit of the doubt for now, as I thoroughly enjoyed Ai Yori Aoshi and am enjoying Umi no Misaki now, and will give this new series a look. Who knows? He may surprise his readers.

I wasnt big fan of Ai (it was ok but not much more) but both of the series were romance. And here it doesnt seem so, so I am very skeptical about it.

i don't see where ity says it's an all girls manga. At the bottom of the article it talked about the MAGAZINE doing Yuri themed illustrations, not that the story was based on that. Or have you seen te first chapter?

Synopsis seems to tell us that. The story centers around a new female student who joins the mountain-climbing club.

It centers on the new female member and the cover suggests that its only girls.

does the author EVER use men on the covers? 99/100 it will normally be only women. the 1/100 time is usually extremely minimal with the girls STILL as the main focus. All it means is that the focus is mainly on the girl rather than the guy.
