The only way to make up for Akua's "dept" to Akasha is to look after Moka in Tsukune's place though only temporarily. Now that Ikeda has left Akua in Tsukune's "hands", he will be able to "help" her but he has to fight her first.

Personally i love Akua, her nature isn't evil, however it is a ruthless nature...

P.S. My Omote-Moka figure comes in today.

Tsukune gains the eyes when he's using a lot of his youki.

That's kinda why if Akuha ever DID do anything to Tsukune, sexual or violent (or both), it's a BIG slight against Moka's pride as a vampire (she can't defend her 'property' as needed/ that Akuha can just take whatever she wants from Moka).

I didn't want to make the selection I wrote too long so I omitted the rest of the harem from the 'moment'. That and Ou-Rex's idea of Akasha being an inspiration for the monster equivalent of 'Gone With The Wind' in that one story had me tickled to death - I had to reference it.

On a more serious note:

Now that Akuha has to deal with Omote on the ship, how will this change her attitude towards Moka? About that Ou-Rex reference, that wouldn't happen to be the Coffee Break fic that you reference for that line Shuzen spoke to Moka about Akasha, right?

Namely this:

Quote:

"That would be your mother." Shuzen casually stated. Akasha giggled behind her hand.

"I was the model for his main female character in the series "Gone With the Youkai." Akasha proudly noted, only for Moka and Tsukune to share a reactive gag expression. Shuzen folded his hands on his desk and shook his head.

"Listen up, or else pornography involving your mother will be the second worst thing that can happen to you." Shuzen snapped them from their antics, only for Moka to beg the question of what could possibly top that. "You will lose all share in this company if you do not find a means of resolving this, all your money, all your power, everything." That...was definitely, infinitely more worse. Money could easily buy therapy for the mom porn.
That line actually originated from me when I was chatting with Rexy the day that chapter was written, and we were exchanging video links on Youtube and the Team fortress one of Meet the Spy was one of them.

I think my line of thinking of suggesting that, was that Akasha was old enough to have been "around the block" quite a few times, and thus would have a bit of the "perverted old lady" mentality when it comes to such subjects. Though in canon, she probably hasn't been around that block as much, if at all, and if she has, she did a very fine job at hiding it.
"
Ah, but the eyes the eyes.... and the hair. Actually I think the constant "vampiric" eyes and silver hair are exclusive to Moka because of her Shinso blood and having it pretty much her whole life. No other vampire we've seen has eyes a constant like that nor have silver hair constantly except when sealed. Though we haven't seen any others other than Kahlua like that, but we assume she just has bright blond hair rather than silver like Moka's. But then again, the way many of the opponents talk when Moka is released gives the impression that the red eyes and silver hair is characteristic of all unsealed vampires when they really power up.

But the thing I don't really understand is how Moka would look like she does unsealed, yet Akasha and Kokoa are able to keep a sealed-like look without the assistance of a seal. Kokoa could just be too weak power wise, and Akasha is just so old and practiced that she doesn't need a seal, is what I think. Other characteristics also seem to vary from individual to individual.

Akasha isn't old, shes an immortal goddess of all vampires and so is Moka, Tsukune sure is lucky to be related to one and have the other as his future lover.

Ah, I had many enjoyable minutes laughing at the idea of Akasha being some perverted old (hawt) vampire mistress and the fact that Moka is her daughter. Of course the thought of Moka in a buisnesswoman's attire got major points from me as well. But now to the bread n butter of your post:

I've actually spent time coming up with my own explaination on why Moka has the silver hair and red eyes that 'the legendary S-class monster - a vampire' is suppose to have and other vampires, even the ones that are stronger than her, do not. I believe that a number of simple factors are the cause for Moka to have the silver hair and red eyes.

First, the physical description of a 'legendary S-class vampire' has been beaten into us since the first chapter - Silver hair, red eyes, and overwhelming youki. This was long before we had any idea of what or how other vampires looked like. We took this as a fact that when a vampire 'released' or had their power unchecked, that they would have silver hair and red eyes. Everyone and I mean, EVERYONE recognized Moka as a vampire due to those three characteristics - they didn't even mention her fangs or anything else. This means that these characteristics are common knowledge throughout the youkai realm. No doubt an extremely powerful vampire(s) made their mark on the rest of the youkai and they had silver hair and red eyes. But every time, the victim of S1 Moka's kick would say that she's a 'legendary S-class vampire' and that got me thinking - is there a difference between 'S-class' and 'legendary S-class'?

Unfortunately, I had to pull from DBZ for a good comparision. It's well known that the SS transformation was suppose to be a legendary super mode for Saiyans and that one every thousand years had the potential to access this. Vegeta, when seeing Goku on Namek, often remarked on how Goku was becoming a Super Saiyan but he never once said that he was the legendary Super Saiyan. Of course we know, that title belonged to Brolli. And holy hell, the quality of their respective powers was like night and day.

So I began to think that Moka's inherited bloodline somehow manifested the repressed 'legendary' gene within her, thus giving her the telltale characteristics of a super vampire. This became entrenched in my mind when Kokoa appeared and Moka revealed that her sisters had different mothers. Kokoa, even though she was the younger sister, had red hair and green eyes, not the silver hair and red eyes of Ura Moka. Even when Kokoa took the growth pills, she still maintained her red hair/green eyes, which told me that even allowing one to mature does not guarentee that they'll acquire the silverhair/redeyes combo. Despite becoming stronger, she did not change when she used her youki. Then we met Kahula.

Kahula stated that among the four Shuzen sisters, Moka was different. She had a different pedigree and that it somehow explained why Moka was the way she was - being sealed and all. Naturally, this led to everyone speculating on either the father or the mother being some sort of super vampire themselves. Then we found out about the Shinso and more speciffically Moka's mother - Akasha Bloodriver.

We learned from Akuha that the Shinso blood was not hereditary, but was 'passed down' when a vampire drank enough of the blood of a Shinso, thus passing the power down and that it was the only way for the power of the Shinso to be passed down. Already we know that a vampire's power is to convert their youki into 'strength' and that their blood radiates an incredible amount of youki. And according to Akuha again, the blood of the Shinso is even more potent - the density of the youki it generates is unlike anything a normal vampire can produce. With such an overwhelmingly dense concentration, the amount of 'strength' a vampire can get is probably anywhere from x2 to x10 the norm. When I read about how Akasha had transfered her blood into Moka, all the pieces fell into place. We do not know when Akasha recieved her Shinso blood, she could have already been matured when it happened. Moka, however, was a newborn. The influx of the potent blood no doubt changed Moka from then. As we can see, when the Shinso blood is sealed up, Moka has pink hair and green eyes, same as her mother, which leads me to believe that if Moka had NOT been given Akasha's blood, that she would look exactly like her mother in every way. But because she recieved the Shinso blood from the time she was an infant, the power manifested in changing her eye and hair color.

Even so, the power of the blood lay pretty much dormant within her - even though she learned to fight, she was never truly stressed enough / angry enough for the power to manifest. With that said, Akasha and Issa were still making plans for Moka to leave their home for fear that she would activate the Shinso power and awaken Alucard. How far in advance did they plan this, we don't know but they obviously knew that Moka had already inherited the Shinso and that as she matured, she would come closer and closer to activating it, even by accident. Since she never had activated it previously, there's only one way for them to have realized that she had the Shinso power (other than Akasha plainly stating that she doesn't have the Shinso blood any more, which she never did say 'nay' or 'yea') - Silver Hair and Red Eyes, the mark of the Legendary (aka the Shinso) Vampire.

Somehow the circumstances surrounding Moka's birth: her newborn body being weak and frail to begin with suddenly recieving the potent and extremely rare Shinso blood, is what manifested the Silver Hair and Red Eyes in her.

As to why Akuha didn't put 2+2 together earlier...I don't know. She's unusually observant in all things and also, being a vampire, she would have had to know the 'silver hair and red eyes' thing. Well, Akuha has a bad case of tunnel vision when Moka is concerned.

And that's my take on it.... I hope this helps, in some way... man, my fingers hurt... ><

The Ghoul is used to describe Tsukune going berserk in his Vamp/Shinso form, the Ghoul itself doesn't really exist.

@Tempest35

Well, that was a pretty intriguing theory Tempest, which might also tell us something about what Tsukune is going through...

After all, in Tsukune's case there is also a difference between how he normally looks like and his vampire form, in a similar way as the difference between how Moka would look like, if she hasn't been injected with the blood of a Shinso when she was an a infant...

Which, might mean that Tsukune might be undergoing similar "changes" as Moka did when she was a child, although the changes that Tsukune goes through are probably at a much slower pace then what Moka went through...

Of course it doesn't mean that Tsukune is going to be the same kind of species as Moka, since, unlike her, Tsukune was originally human, while Moka was born as a vampire, but since Ikeda already points out the similarities between what Tsukune currently goes through, and what Moka went through as a child, it might mean that Tsukune is going to be a similar to Moka at the end of the story - I mean that it's possible that Tsukune is going to become an legendary Vampire as well a being equally powerful to a legendary (shinso) vampire, and having a lot of similarities with them, to the point that Tsukune is probably going to be mistaken as an legendary vampire as well...

Tsukune will eventually become a Shinso himself, according to how Shinso are made.

Akasha and Moka even though they were born pure blood vampires at some point during Akasha's life she was given Shinso blood making her into one and Moka was given Shinso blood when Akasha gave Moka her Shinso blood during Moka's infancy thus making her into one also, but it didn't stop there the Shinso blood was passed down to Tsukune and he will also become a Shinso, only a matter of time though.

Well he already has but the Holy Lock is preventing him from transforming into one, but you have to admit the Shinso blood alone even inside Tsukune is enough to make him into a very powerful opponent, we have all witnessed Tsukune's potential in his berserker state, we should dispose of the idea that his orginal human lineage is holding him back, because it's not.

Tsukune's human origins, prevent him from being able to control the full extent of his vampire abilities - and while I agree that it doesn't limit the amount of power that Tsukune has at his disposal, it's still a limitation, since currently Tsukune still isn't able to fully control his power's...

I mean, because of the fact that Tsukune had originally been a human, he needs the Holy Lock, since after all, Tsukune's human nature (in other words his sanity) and his vampire power's aren't compatible with each other, and the Holy Lock is a tool to balance out that "incompatibility", giving Tsukune time to learn how to balance out his vampire power's with his human nature....

Also, the fact that Tsukune was originally human, before acquiring the blood of a Shinso, is going to make him a different kind of Shinso then someone who originally a vampire and acquired the blood of a Shinso, like Moka for example...

Of course, Tsukune is probably going to become as powerful as a vampire who aqcuired the powers of a Shinso, it's just that Tsukune's road, before he will be able to control that power is going to be a lot more dificult compared ti a typical vampire with Shinso blood, and there are still going to be some differences between a vampire with Shinso blood and Tsukune - one of them is the fact that Tsukune is immune to typical vampire weaknesses, but there still might be some other differences between Tsukune and a vampire who has obtained the powers of a Shinso...
