Can we hope for figurines of those who awakened, in their awakened forms?

Aye, I don't think anyone is brave enough to make it. But It would be the figure that made me spend over the 100 mark

You should rethink yours statement. For example this is a
Warhammer model Those models (metal and plastic) are made in 28 (bigger) scale, which means a model of an average human is 28 mm high. Model on the photo is a model of a monster, substancially bigger, but it's at max 10 cm high. I was converting and painting such models once, so claymore models looks for me... lets say, funny.

That model is nice @Arturo, and yes, certainly gives me a reason to rethink.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but Claymore: Complete Series Box Set [Blu-ray] is being release in February.

It's cheaper than Claymore: Complete Series Box Set, lol.

Claymore wasn't aired in HD, right? So this is probably a really poor upscale.

The reason why it's cheaper is because Amazon is pushing Blu-ray into the market. It's the same thing with the rest of their Blu-ray titles. Most of them are over 40% off and everyone of them has a higher percentage off compared to the DVD counterparts.

Well, sometimes the DVDs are better so the pricing isn't totally off.

I would prefer the Blue-rays over the DVDs. Nothing at all personal there.

Sometimes BDs can look a lot worse than DVDs. BD doesn't mean instant quality and all. I'm skeptical with Claymore since it's an old series, from before anime was aired in HD as much as it is now.

Made back in 2007, so at the very least it has a digital master. Digital masters started to become the norm in Japan in 2005. That's all you really need for a good upconvert. It's really up to the authoring house from there. Unfortunately, Funimation does their own authoring, which is a hit or miss depending to the title.

Well, if you get it... tell use what you think of the quality. I have a Blue-Ray player and just might buy it on Blue-Ray if you believe there is improvement. However I normally don't buy Blue-Ray anime... so I likely won't get it without some good reviews first.

Unfortunately, I don't have an HDTV and I already own the series on DVD (bought the singles when the released out). I'm just going by what people have said about Funimation BDs.

I might Netflix it, if they have it that is. I rather buy anime on BD because the subtitles are so much easier on the eyes. I prefer subs over dubs, so yeah.

just FYI. The claymore BD box set is currently ranked 17th on the anime/manga best seller list on amazon.

Just how many copies has claymore sold exactly?

It may be dumb to ask, but all I can ever find are placements, not numbers.
