There were plans, but they sort of fell through for a shockingly stupid reason.

So the short answer is, there won't be a banner contest for a while?

Cats- Same, I miss his smart remarks ^_^.

What is a good program to edit movies, mostly anime episodes into smaller fragments so i can edit them for gifs on Adobe Image Ready?

My computer don't have the processing power to open a 23 min long episode on Adobe Img Rdy even though i'm only selecting a 2 minute range from the episode.

another CSS HTML question

for my project site i am making a header with buttons over the picture on lowest row somewhere int he middle, however at the moment i got my picture working but my buttons are listed but in the wrong position, theyre int he right upper corner in a list vertically..

this is my code, does anyone know how to make my buttons form a line on the bottom of the picture horizentally, not int he left corner but several inches from it

CSS code:

body {
margin:0;
padding:0;
}

#wrap{
width:760px;
height:180px;
margin:0 auto;
}

#nav{
float:left;
width:760px;
height:180px;
background: #fff url(../images/header.gif) top no-repeat center;
margin:0;
padding:40px 0 0 5px;
list-style:none;

}

#nav li {
float:right;
margin:0;
padding:0;
font-size:80%;
font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}

#nav a{
float:right;
display:block;
margin:0 2px 0 0;
padding:5px 10px;
color:#fff;
text-decoration:none;
border: 1px solid #009;
background: #FF9900;
}

and i am confussed about somethign else aswell, with the current code, if i make new DIV ID tags for the screen for content end a menu bar below the header and when i put in the CSS code for it and save, it doesnt show up when i press F12 , im not sure about what im doing wrong since im quite a CSS noob, i learned about makign websites 4 weeks ago when i moved to my new class and now i have to make stuff already

heres the code i was putting in for one of the things i just pasted it below the still excisting code (listed above, background collor randomly picked)

#menu {
width:120px;
height:400px;
background-color:#99CCOO;
float:left;
}

Is your site centered, to the middle or center.
Can't you just absolute/relative position it.

honestly said im not sure, because we got several papers on how to make buttons in geneal and to ut them in a CCS, i went on looking through the code to see if i could change the header colour to a background image instead, which i did.. for the rest i have to clue on hwo to position it correctly

its just a basic thing so it probably not centered..

It really doesn't matter that much if it's centered, but it would have been somewhat relavent.
To position something Relatively, add..
position: relative;
top: <insert position here>
left: <insert position here>

Note: It's basicly simple positioning in a xy axis, when it's relative, (0,0) coordanite is located where the normal position of the object would be, when it's absolute, (0,0) is located in the top left corner of the screen.
Negative values are also valid.
Post Scriptum
It would help to see the html or a version of the html
that has the structure. Its hard to make heads or tails
of what you need.

Hoookay... probably something I don't really want to know. Hopefully it's something that can eventually be overcome.

Here's a question, where is NoSanninWa's avatar from?

And why does he have what looks like a Christian cross on his cheek?

My current avatar is from Uninhabited Planet Survive. The cross is a legacy from my main avatar. I keep it as my logo.

That wasn't directed at you, maybe I wasn't clear enough. :x

What I meant was, asking to be a mod is a sure fire way of not being selected.
Hence, if someone wants to be a mod, the first step would be not promoting himself/herself for the position. After that it's up to the current staffs/mods to observe and decide. :3
