I just finished refrain and I will admit ... I cried like a little girl.
That was the powerful Key game I've played. Yes, it hit me harder than Clannad did.
I've only got 2 routes left so I can pretty confidently recommend this to anyone who liked previous Key games. It is by far the funniest of them all too; I lost track of the number of times I couldn't stop myself from going into hysterics at 3 in the morning.
There were a couple kinda meh routes but they do little to detract from the overall story. It is incredibly Key-like though, so if you weren't a fan of previous ones you probably won't get into this one. Not to say you shouldn't try though; LB definitely takes number one spot for me at this point.

Well that's what makes them interesting right? Otherwise you just end up with another high school harem story that happens to have better-than-average voice acting and graphics.

Wow. I just noticed how similar Saya is to one of Kud's early character designs.
Spoiler for a big picture:

I don't think LB was that much of Key's older games. Although it did have that "KEY feeling" in it, I wouldn't have senced it if I hadn't played the other games from key. In my opinion, anybody who haven't played any of KEY's games would certainly appericiate this game.

I think if Maeda is involved, even went as fr as to read "the end of the world and the hard boiled wonderland" which I hear ONE got a lot of the idea from. I can see how it continued in some way for the rest with other worlds, and expanded on that.

Does anyone know what it means and what I have to do to fix this problem?>___<"

It says Insert an original disk in the tray please. You only have to insert your game CD each time you want to launch up the game.

The choice actually asks you if you "know the secret of this world", the direct reference for Refrain, the last route.
Answering yes (はい) allows you to get access to EX content (thus, Konata, Sasami and Saya's routes), without needing to finish Refrain. This choice was quite handy for people who finished the original LB.

I strongly advice you not to play Sasami or Saya's routes before finishing Refrain, as some concepts of the final route are touched with these.

It has been ages I didn't play LB, but I think that you must finish all routes (All girls + Rin bad end + Rin "end"). Afterwards, you will see Refrain available in the main menu.

The choice only appears once, as it is in order to set if the player has finished the game or not before. Therefore, displaying this question after the first time is moot.
If you want to change your answer, you will have to make the installation with a clean save, so you must delete SAVEDATA folder (or to be more exact, the save999.sav file) .
