So no, I don't think that'll be the case. Besides, if the 4th Gen. Gundam, the 00 Gundam, is the one that'll change the world (the ultimate goal of Celestial Being), there won't be much of a reason for more Gundams of its type, would there?
console65 was actually referring to the third generation Gundams, not level 3.

And I don't get why people keep referring to the Cherudim, Arios and Seravee as "Third Generation" when it's quite obvious that they're Fourth Generation Gundams, if not in model number, then in their capabilities, unless there's been an official announcement I'm not aware off.

Does my logic make sense?
Dude, how can Cherudim, Arios, and Seravee be a 3rd generation Gundams if they're based from their previous prototypes? if they are 3rd generation Gundams, then they should be based from the 2nd generation Gundams but that is NOT what the official site says.

The official site says that Dynames is Cherudim's successor unit, the same applies to Arios and Seravee, that means they are indeed 4th generation Gundams.

Yep, they're definately 4th Generation units. Just check the order of creation. That's the easy way.

okay. I Just thought that successor units were always "next generation". Appears I was wrong.

Anyone seen pics of the backsides of Cherudim, Arios, and Seravee because I really want to get a full view of the suits and their armaments. The only rear view I have seen is 00 and all it has is 2 beam sabers and a GN Vernier thruster-type backpack.

I think the point that everyone is making is that The 00 Gundam is a whole new series onto itself. GN0000-00 Gundam. Every other unit is just a number up from the 3rd Generation.

We do not know the main differences in the suits yet. For all we know the 00 Gundam could use a unique new GN Drive from the other suits. Thus making it a new Gen suit. Can only spec atm.

I laughed so hard listening and reading through the summary. I wish to see this animated. Setsuna is he out of character? Tieria having a female voice is an epic win. Graham rocks. What is he doing? He must be urging to get his hand on Setsuna for quite long

My Level 3 Gundam comment was not about that, but about a third upgrade for Gundams in the series--such as Gundam MkII to Zeta, or Wing Gundam to Wing Zero, or Strike to Freedom. You just don't see a third upgrade to a Gundam (I'm not sure if X to Divider X counts, as that wasn't necessarily stronger, just a refitting of a severely damaged Gundam).

It might be that Setsuna was looking for more parts to be used belonging to a gn-x.We all know that Saji is an engineer now , so it might be that he's an engineer helping out with the maintenance of Gn-x'es since he did know the color of the particles of the 'thing' he saw were different from a gn-x .
Anyway Exia ( cloacked) sneaks into the EF's hangar and Setsuna starts his search for parts , it could be that Saji walks in on Setsuna not knowing it's him , he draws a gun on him.
He asks Setsuna to turn around slowly and then the shock begins i guess

About the new Ptolemaios flying to an asteroid field : I think it's because after Setsuna escaped the facility in Exia and took care of any resistance he had to face , he might hide in that asteroid field to jam their communications or something like that you know the way AL-HAL hid duringn the battle against Sergei -Soma . However Tieria and the rest of CB pick the signal up on their screen and fly to the asteroid field to get the Exia with Setsuna back .

Well that theory of yours sounds pretty much more accurate than mine. But wouldn't you expect someone to SEE the Exia entering the hanger bay since it losts its cloaking ability??? I personally don't think that hes' a MS engineer cause his dream was to become a orbital satilite enginer, not mentioning MS, though I could be wrong.

well we did see the exia cloacked there has to be a reason for it at least. About Saji yeah that might be true but maybe he got re-assigned or something , i don't think he would be stupid enough to actually go after the gundam he saw

Zeta to ZZ would be a third upgrade

There's also Gp01 to gp01fb (gp01fb's upgrades make it a completely new suit even though the cosmetic appearance is roughly the same) to gp03

Gundam geminass to L.O. Booster to Griepe

Blue Frame Blue Frame 2nd L Blue Frame the Third

The more I think about Graham and the mask... How many times have we seen a masked character with some disfigurement. The clothing that he is wearing is also not very "Federation" like. It doesn't even flow with Arrows as we have seen one of the Arrows pilot at the door[sure thats an Arrows pilot]. Could Graham be pulling something on the level of a Quattro Bajeena? So then if he isnt piloting the Red suit then that maybe...

I was counting in shows, not mangas like G-Unit or Astray. As for Zeta to ZZ, that's a different show, even if it shows the same mechs. Which is why I didn't count a Strike to Freedom to Strike Freedom, as in Destiny there was no Strike. In essence, it is something that generally not done, and when it is, its only done to the protagonist's gundam, and the third upgrade generally is the titular Gundam of the series. Its not done to supporting Gundam pilots.

Exia with cloak, i wouldn't make a big deal out of it. The only reason i think Exia has that cloak is because Setsuna took it while it was being repaired

As you can see in the trailer, it seems Setsuna was rushing after something.

I wonder how Graham will react when he learns that both Setsuna and the Exia survived their final fight. Will be bust out another GN-Flag for revenge of Howard and Darryl?

That won't be so bad since we saw very little of GN-Flag, and you never know there might be an upgraded version of GN-Flag.

If Graham still flies the basic Flag frame with nothing but a GN drive and weaponry upgrades, he truly does have balls of steel.

Not that the Overflag is a bad mobile suit, but that red GN-X (Ali's?) was running circles around that Tieren and Enact, whereas there's a limit to the Overflag's structural tolerance, I would guess - in Gundam, variable mobile suits generally have less structural integrity than non-variable mobile suits. Can't just chuck on fifty beam cannons on a Flag.

Wasn't the flawed structural integrity bit only for the ZZ-Gundam? If that were the case for all variable mobile suits, they'd have mentioned the fact in the other shows.

Wasn't that about how the ZZ was even weaker due to it being a combining suit?

I could have sworn I've heard or read something about variable suits in general, regarding either the Zeta or a Titans variable suit.

Either way, I have a piece of advice I heard from another Gundam board: "Don't apply UC details to AU Gundam series."
