Thank you for the links. Wow, Fukuda are shipping AsuCaga a lot in those music videos, I hope that they will reunite again in the movie

i thought they were meh at best. Find the Way was the best one. cause of the most Kira and Lacus shipping... haha. but seriously, if i had the time, i probably could have done the same thing if not better.. Fukuda lets us down again.

Well, there were some rumors of a movie back in 2005 or 2006. And another rumor just after Destiny ended : the next series would be called Gundam SEED Eternity.

So you have :

SEED
SEED Destiny
SEED Eternity

The movie was not a rumor. It was formally, officially, announced by Sunrise.... It was stalled due to production problems, though as of the beginning of 2009 both Fukuda and Morosawa said work had started on it again.

There is no Eternity, never has been. That was an obviously fake photoshop that somehow fooled quite a few fools.

That and someone at NYCC yelled out that Morosawa has brain cancer when SEED was mentioned... LoL.

It was announced on the old Gundam Perfect Web as well as the "X-plosion Seed" site (check the old posts on this thread). Heck it was on newspapers and on Newtype magazine too. Don't remember if a full press release was ever issued, but it was as official as it gets

Gundam SEED Eternity? That's like Dukem Nukem Forever XD

Of course, seeing as how the latter recently yelled "Hey, I'm not vaporware yet!", maybe Eternity will show up sometime soon? I'd say 3 more months at the soonest.

Only one difference, Duke Nukem Forever is going to be released... While the SEED movie is still in pre-production at best.

I wouldn't be so sure about Duke Nukem Forever

. It's gotten to a point where I'm not gonna believe it until it's being sold in the closest Gamestop. Same goes for freaking GT5.

Anyway, if Sunrise really had the urge to continue CE wouldn't they just fire Fukuda and his god forsaken wife and hire another director? Instead of wait for them and lose the opportune moment of releasing a continuation to seed?

Makes most sense.But if I were them, I would reboot the whole series with the movies. But that's just my own fllay-biased opinion.

If I were them, I'd have Kira actually die in Strike while fighting Athrun's Aegis during his infamous self-destruct act. Then have Athrun replace Kira as the main character and learn that his destiny is not to win the war but to stop it. Then they actually develop Mwu and Rau's rivalry. Have Mwu get the Freedom and Athrun the Justice and things play out the same except less flashbacks and less insane lock-on-shoot-all-profit-win. Oh and either get rid of Lacus or change her from a pop-star to an actual important ZAFT committee member from the start...because I just find it TOO ridiculous for a mere pop-star to have access to the most advanced Mobile Suit facility. It also makes a much more reasonable political pairing for Athrun if Lacus is actually important to ZAFT in a government sort of way.

Too bad that would never happen

. If they took this direction SEED could break new ground in the Gundam Franchise instead of being regarded as the bastard child.

l hope its still be Kira that leads the main role,,,, for if it's going to be Shin (AGAIN!!!!!)... that would be the worst scenario....

....of all the Gundam Series until now... Shin is my most hated character...
l like Heero and Kira better !!!!

... Hope it will be Great Series as the first two

I don't know what you're talking about because Kira definitely led Destiny

and Shinn was just along for the ride.
