Well I'm equally bad with both The only reason why my chinese skills is still acceptable is bcause most of the new, good, and less popular mangas are only in chinese...

Actually I read the Chinese scans as well. But I also bought both volumes from Amazon Japan. My Japanese is not as good as my Chinese but I prefer buying and reading my manga in Japanese.

Heh, a Suigintou lookalike appears. Even their names sound similar, I don't think it's a coincidence. Himari and gang are going to have trouble with the new girl, but Yuuto himself does not seem that interested in the newcomer.

Otherwise, the best way to sum up the manga would be in the immortal words of Tohno Shiki: A cat is fine too.

-Rinko was asked to befriend him. But she did not like those eyes. So, instead of wanting to protect him, she wanted to change him.
-And he did. He also began to make friends.
-After the traffic accident 7 years ago, they stopped using honorifics for each other.
-Later, Yuuto asks her to act more like a girl. In exchange, he bought her a ribbon she chose.
-Every year, at the summer festival, Yuuto buys her a new ribbon, and Rinko ties an old ribbon on a specific tree.

-Shizuku is reminded of one her clan's festivals and Himari hates shrines, so no going to summer festival for them.

It's very likely the Japanese manga. Volume 2 was only released in September this year (thus the 2 months). I seriously doubt the Taiwanese or Hongkong publishers are that fast.

If Matra Milan's still doing H-doujins, I wish he'd bring back the vampire-and-miko duo from "Higanotoki," one of his earlier works. They had a very nice relationship dynamic going by the end - the only thing that dragged it down was the token male character, who was annoyingly arrogant and one-dimensional.

(One great thing about the current yuri-friendly climate is that authors seem much more ready to dispense with token "male leads" who really serve no purpose in the story...)

Matra Milan also did the art for the h-game ALMA.


His art style is so downright sexy. Not very realistic in terms of proportions and such, but he makes everything to a certain golden middle, not too big, not too small, not too curvy yet not too flat, and what ends up is a style that just oozes sexy and makes the girls look so damn attractive.

I also like how he does his characters' faces. Himari and others like her look so badass at times. I love their eyes.

- Himari gets pissed that Kuesu is smootching whathisname. Kuesu laughs and smirks and brags and leaves via teleportation. (Gosh, humans do have magic)

- Kuesu chats with her mom on the phone, apparently the Shinguuji clan wants whathisname's powers for themselves. The plot thickens.

- Shizuku intercepts Kuesu on a building rooftop. They fight. Shizuku taunts Kuesu, Kuesu got pissed and delivers a max special. Shizuku escapes with the help of one of her brethren, a Bishounen named Kagetsuki. Apparently, the fug-ugly friends of Shizuku can transform into bishoujos and bishies. Makes me wonder how fug-ugly Shizuku actually is in her monster form. I'm hoping she isn't... too ugly.

- Back at home, whatshisname is eating from cup ramen while thinking about girls and kisses. Himari is in her room undressing while thinking about boys and kisses.

- Himari got horny at the thought of kissing whatshisname and rushed out in her kimono and demanded whatshisname to kiss her, on the lips or at least the cheeks.

- Whatshisname notices that Himari is shivering from uncertainty. He thought about how a sword wielding chick like her can get pangs of nervousness and he decides that kissing her is the only thing he can do.

- As he tried to kiss her cheeks, Himari chickened out and turned to say something. Lips meet and smootching occurs.

- Whatshisname goes "Eh, this doesn't feel like a cheek" and then "WTF? Lips!! Shit!"

Don't mind it. It's not really a bad thing....considering it takes like what...half a year for one volume release? I'd rather slowly read the chapters than to wait for a volume...if that makes sense...
