Give Kenichi 4 more years of brutal training and the kid would be a punishment-taking god maybe on par with young Sakaki or Akira.
He may be on par with the young Sakaki in four years, but we won't see it. It's going on 500 chapters now and only a year has passed time wise. We won't see Kenichi at that level for a few thousand more chapters at it's current rate of speed. As I said before, if the disciple fights were the main focus of the story, I'd have no problems with Kenichi's progress. However, with the shift to the battle with Yami and the other masters, the disciple fights have basically become filler instead of main events like they used to be. Heck, most of the Shinpaku Alliance sits around doing nothing now and the entire group can't even handle one master class without help. I'd just like to see a little less focus on the Masters and more on the growing disciples, where it belongs.

Really not much going on with this fight other than clashing ki and blurred moves. The backstory with that dude doesn't really interest me all that much... The author seems to be trying too hard to draw a parallel between him and Kenichi. He's probably dead or something anyway now, which is what lead to their split on separate paths.

This whole war between Yami and Ryozanpaku, I think it was started because of Kenichi. If Kenichi did not learn martial arts and beat Ragnarok, Kensei would not have convinced Yami to declare war on Ryozanpaku. It's only a theory, but what do you guys think?

I agree...i have not problem, with development of Kenichi...for me, Kenichi is doing good....Because he started to' learn martial arts, without any talent...
Not like the others, who are prodigy or started when they were children...
the problem, as you mentioned , is that the story is a little slow ...
I hope that the 'author focuses more on development Kenichi, to turn his in to a master....

Sorry, I forgot about everything else in this chapter after seeing Sakaki's sister (and that's without seeing her face). Now THAT's a woman without overkilling it with the boobs, sensei. She's like, perfect in every place.

What if she turned around and had almost the same face as Sakaki. Like that one Porky's movie with the girl working on the car...

I highly doubt that considering the reaction of Hongo and the other guy.

I wonder what could have happened to put Hongo and Sakaki on bad terms, was it the relationship they had with Yami or did it involve that one guy, or perhaps something bad happened to Sakaki's sister?

I wonder what happened that made them trade places. The chapter makes it sound like Sakaki sound have been the one to join Yami.

I second this... Matsuena exagerates, but this time, he did a fantastic job.

Way to go Kenichi, that was an incredible move, don't wash your hands in a while

BTW, i don't think that Sakaki and Hongo are in bad terms, they are rivals despite were they belong. Besides Hongo saved Kenichi, didn't he?. To me the boy in there has something to do in all this.

Wow.. Sakaki sister is hot!!! A girl in the motorbike, is always hot!!
And the maniac move of Kenichi was great!! Hahah!!
In this chapter the most interesting thing, was the master Sakaki is the master of Yamy Shinso riuu! And tell Sakaki, to' follow his, And become one of Yami!!
what happened to his master?
What happened to' his sister?
And, why Sakaki not follow the orders of his master?
I can't wait!!!

So,if they're not showing the sister's face, does that mean that she's important to the story ?
