DarkAnime's Naruto 66-67 problem

When I try to download this torrent file, it opens in my browser and is some form of binary. If I force a download an try to move to the directory, it crashes my shell in linux. Is there something strange about this file?

Save the torrent to your harddisk, make sure it's an .torrent then open it.

Thank you for replying. I did try that. But when I tried to open the folder the file was in, the shell froze. I was able to enter the folder from a commandline.

I wonderedif it was just because of the sheer number of people trying to access that server at the time. There were something like 5000 ul and god knows how many dl.

I always thought torrent files were text. is that wrong?

Well, yes and no. They need the extension .TORRENT to be recognized by the client, but they are just a mass of text (like anything else) with informations about the tracker.
