window xp downgrade?

I was wondering what problems will i run into if i a install a windows xp downgrade? will i loose files? How will i reformat computer since i have a reformat cd. Will it be worth it because i can't even run things well that reads xp. specially torrents D: and other things like that.

If you choose to "downgrade" to Windows XP, you will have to either format your system - lose all of your files - or dual boot your computer. I suspect you just want to use Windows XP, so I imagine you will lose all of your information. I would backup all of your data and record what devices you will need drivers for. Windows XP should be capable of identifying most of your devices without much trouble.
