If they follow their original posted schedule for the releases up to now, the new show will be on Youtube for about a week as well as on 14 Japanese TV channels over the course of two weeks.

My list is probably the most accurate one. Apologies if that sounds over-prideful.
[List]

New episodes italicized.

Sighs could either have two or three parts, depending... Snow Mountain only really needs one, but they did two for Lone Island, so... Alternatively, they could combine Where Did the Cat Go and Snow Mountain together, and leave the last episode for the prologue of Intrigues, which is chronologically before Melancholy of Mikuru, in any case.

In fact, they could easily combine the Intrigues prologue with some anime-original content to stretch it out into a full episode.
Just curious, does this mean that S1 and S2 (or extended S1 depending on how these new 14 episodes count) will cover only the first four books and does that leave any material for more future anime projects?

(I haven't read the books yet.)

That covers most of the first six books if I remember correctly. There are presently nine books with a tenth known to be planned.

And even if there is further material, it'll probably take another 3-4 years before a third season will be released, if ever at all.

Wait, youtube has direct downloads now if you subscribe to the channel am I correct? So the subbers will DL the video then sub it? But is that not copyright infringement in a sense?

Yes, it's possible to directly download mp4 video files from Youtube, but it's not something Youtube would like everyone knowing. Also, any potential subbers would use higher-quality raw video files taped directly from Japan. And yes, anything that copies copyrighted videos without consent is technically copyright infringement. But that's an argument for another thread.

I asked this question like 10 pages ago and nobody answered so I'll try asking it again. I don't know if this is against the TOS or not, but is there a live stream for the TV channel on May 21, preferably for VLC?

Also, what are the chances that Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody will have a new opening and ending?

KeyholeTV can be used to watch some Japanese channels. I'm pretty sure it's legal but I'm not sure if it gives you access to one of the May 21st channels.

Edit: And we have no idea if there will be a new opening or ending.

I kinda enjoyed this tango, if you will, however cynically.

Well next time they won't have that "three years ago" plot thread hanging over them to lean on.

Of course... if season "three" covers everything else up to volume 9(and possibly 10), they'd have "FOUR" years ago to go with... I'm not helping, am I?

The Full Metal Panic crowd still wants their turn.

In other news Space Battleship Yamato's next film looks like it will be released in December....after 26 years since the last film, and in development hell since 1992.

Probably because someone had posted information about a way to do exactly that 9 pages before you asked the question (albeit behind a spoiler tag).

And get a new video player. VLC sucks balls. And it doesn't even do it all that well...

Or it's just people going through all the motions again, complete with people talking about how shocking it is that a thread could be moving so fast. Though if you think this is fast you should have seen the Gundam forums when 00 was airing. They actually had to lock the thread sometimes to keep the spam levels down.

Was that like 50 per hour? seems kinda hard to beat 10 per day.

Like 10 pages in the first 10 minutes of an episode sometimes. Okay more like within the first hour, but sometimes it felt like it was 10 minutes.
