Futari Ecchi ??

Where can I find fansubs for this series? I'm pretty sure it's not licensed.

Yes, "anime" is from the French word. The Japanese used to have their own word for animation (but I've forgotten what it is) but anime became the norm in Japan a couple decades ago.

Both seasons were a good watch. Just put it back up on the main page and label it with Educational & NSFW. That is until they license it for the US and then change the title to The Rhythm of Stroking - "For Dummies".

and I stress the word "ero" because here in Japan, no one uses the term "hentai" or "ecchi" as an adjective to describe mangas, animes, games, and pictures anymore. Since the mid-1990s, we have been using a more generic term "ero" in place of those words. And I am hoping that this newer, more-updated term becomes more prevalent in the non-Japanese world.
Thank you for letting us know
I think im going to start using that term around my friends in order to seem smart LOL

Yes, I think the are 24 voulmes of Futari Ecchi. I've skimmed through the first 21. I don't think the anime follows the manga corectly I don't remember seeing

Spoiler:
but it doesn't matter to cause it's still funny.

Also the manga does some attempts to focus on other characters other than Makoto & Yura

Like His Cousin
Spoiler:

What surprised me was Makoto's little sister
Spoiler:

The series gets pretty serious @ times like when
Spoiler:

BTW, Im sorry if I spoiled the series for anyone by mentioning the manga, but even if you don't read or skim the manga, you don't miss much.

Thanks for the clarification cf18. I'm not sure about the other times though.

Not that I've seen and it's kinda sad because I don't think anyone is willing to license the manga in the US @ all . guess I'' have to learn to read Japanese

Example: BAKA means STUPID in japanese
VACA means COW in spanish
they both sound exactly the same.
Quote:
Or the word:"AHO" which also means stupid in japonese
while the word "AJO" which is pronounced the same way as "AHO" means "garlic" in Español
Quote:
also.......um ah......... DAME = STOP in japanese ( i think) DAME = GIVE ME in spanish
KASA or KAZA = umbrella in japanese (i think), CASA = House ''''''

And there is many words in japanese that are pronounced the same in spanish, although there is a whole different way of writting it ^_^.
Do you want to know, what is really very cheerful? For russians the name "Yura" is written and said in accuracy as the brief form of the russian man's name "Yurii" (in russian spelling - "Þðèé"). It is very amusing (for russian) to read about the girl with a man's name
